That makes sense looking at that one valve without a head, so at least you know the rest of the build was most likely ok and its “just” a part failure.

Seriously, how about pitting a standard GZZ (or whatever you S2 guys call the 190 Toyota lump) and selling it as an amazingly modded car… I don’t think it would be big bucks to source and fit a donor engine, and N/A 190’s seem to be making good money ATM. Surely yours with all the TLC and bits would be highly sort after… 23k ++??? (more than breaking down the car??)

Dave I’m just too busy at home with three kids, full time and part time work. I want to make a stonkingly good job of the S1 so felt breaking the car would maximise profit, further educate and provide closure to move on in two years with…and this is an initial thought only a 211 or R300 lol…
