NA Build....

Cheers fella’s, I probably being over critical tbh.

Wez seriously it’s like sneezing through a straw mate

I had to came up with a way of fitting the engine lid…

I had these shim like jobbies laser cut and attached them to the existing holes on the lid.

These then slide through a couple of bolts. I can add or remove any number of nuts to act as spacers so the lid lines up with the clam (scoop to scoop in particular). I also trimmed the edges, this help for a smooth transition rather than scraping the raw edges together…

It does the job and I am able to use the existing Dzus fixing.

So close…

I filled the gaps left by the mudflaps in the front wheel arches yesterday as well, but forgot to take pictures… Probably because it was totally unexciting!

Car looks great jonny, you just need to get the Radium header tank now to go with the other Radium goodies. Their titanium wheel nuts look good too, but a bit expensive

hubba hubba

does look great

Well cool mate :sunglasses:

I like the Radium stuff, I would have had the bolts but I went for the Seriously Stud kit, more practical but the bling very almost swayed me lol.

Guess what…it’s finished!

There was me thinking when it’s finished it would be finished so why do I have a list of mods and improvements… I really have gone full circle. I love it!

John’s been over spreading his JSR magic fixing and fitting lots of stuff all week, tar buddy. The final Carbon bits arrived, nothing major access panels and side scoops. I have fitted a number plate holder with integral lighting, made and fitted actually so should pass the MOT Monday afternoon. Fitting a new set of 888’s in the morning. Stephen and Richie from Track Group have pulled it out of the bag and are meeting me at Donnington Wednesday morning to shake down the car before heading off to Spa for the weekend, thanks fellas. Then it’s track and curry time, yay! I’ll get some pictures up at some point very soon…

That is great news jonny, I am looking forward to seeing it in carbon and fibreglass

Fair play matey!!!

Cool Jonny, you must be well chuffed

Great news JF well done!

All of that hard work you’ve put into it looks well worth the effort. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh!

See you Wednesday at Donny

The weather forecast says it’ll be scorchio !

Nice one Mr Fox - looks great (although I’m not a fan of canards…unless they’re the crispy variety with plum sauce & pancakes.
