As you can see Jim has used V band clamps for me and I hope it means adding the CAT for MOTs might be easier in the future
Also Zircotec have added my favourite blue coating, the one on the last manifold was so good I decided it was worth the cash again
How loud is it running the de cat? I was considering one in my quest to add lightness but I dont fancy too much volume.
Exhaust looks nice btw!
No clue, this is a new wly designed inside Jim has done, so he has no clue how loud it will be, but it will be good finding out, I should have it on and know what HP increase it give by Oulton
F’ING LOUD SCARY LOUD ANDY…
Nice looking.
4 to 1. Do you have a N/A car?

Grabs popcorn, & phones Jonnyfox!
Luverly!!!
Sorry but am I the only one here who does not know what a BLUE manifold is!!!
I am guessing it may be ceramic??? but I thought that was white?
Just jelous really!
Nice exhaust Adrian!
Is it an 8x24"?
What is the cost of the powder coating? How many days to do it?

Zircotec now do several colours for their coatings Linky I tested the blue for them on my last manifold and it has been excellent so I decided to pay for it this time.

Took about 10 days to do it and it was just over 300 so not cheap but in my mind well worth it
[quote=661]Nice looking.

4-1 seems to be the best for supercharged cars like mine, it really helps with extra midrange torque.
As you might have guessed mine is supercharged
Great Link Andy! Thx.

Only said slightly tongue in cheek. I did recall reading you had a S/C but thought 4 2 1 was better. I thought that was what was on a Chris Tullet creation I saw recently. Must have been mistaken??
Ok, not sure about the Tullet one, last I heard it had gone back to be redesigned for the SC cars as it didn’t work on them, might be wrong though.
I wonder if lotus would sell their uprated manifold on its own (without the 270 kit).
It fits the std flange and would make swapping the cat in/out a nice easy job. I like easy
There are a few upgraded normal fit manifolds available I bet Lotus is lazy and is just using one of them, the trick is to find the correct one, make sure you get the tune sorted after you change it though, mine needed a load more fuel as it went lean from 3k rpm which was a surprise to all.
Who does the normal fit manifolds Ade? The lotus one is shown in the lotus sport pdf
They are just Celica manifolds, so eBay might be your friend?
