Mapping session 2 today

I think Dan & the Dyno have gone to TDI North.

also some interesting gossip on Sinclaires / Essex by the looks of it

This is sounding even better, if we have a well known tuner with a hub dyno oop north.
The hub figure quoted is very similar to johns cn 260 with 2bular manifold if I recall correctly so I am guessing at 270 working on 10%.
I just need to know where my lost ponies are…
Still with a syvecs and 550’s I could flog my 260 ecu and injectors to offset some of the cost, just don’t understand 440’s at 97% at 270 bhp?

Almost a rant…

Radium Turbo kit will give you more than any supercharger for the buck by far…

Or what about a bigger SC?

Just more parasitic losses and little gain as far as I’ve seen and the cost is just stupid…

Didnt realise those big chargers were loads of dosh.

Anyway Frank, you should be out drying the roads dude, I leave in 12 hours!!

This is old news and doesn’t need bringing up again IMHO.

Thanks for digging it out and posting - new news to me…“TDi at Lakeside” - where’s that?

I don’t know anything about that old BS but Wayne and Gil have always been good people and seem to still be in biz…

OK so that’s:

TORQUE DEVELOPMENTS INTERNATIONAL PLC,
Unit 5, Cliffside Trade Park, Motherwell Way,
Thurrock, Essex RM20 3XD. United Kingdom

so still don’t understand reference to the ex-Sinclaires dyno man and equipment moving to Liverpool?

Someone mentioned the guy called Dan and the dyno moving to Liverpool. I found the news article saying he was moving to TDI. I just assumed this would be TDI North in Warrington (not too far from Liverpool). I emailed them about mapping the Lotus ecu and they don’t have the software to do it.

To sum up… No idea about Dan, Dyno or links with Liverpool.

Go to Essex if you need a remap.

My head hurts.

It took me a while, but Im there now:

21 & 22 Aston Court, Kingsland Grange, Warrington, WA1 4SG

No mention of Dan…

I think some miss information about TDI North.

Googling old stuff and Putting 2 + 2 together and getting 3.5 is not right.

The original Sincs dino and Dan the dyno man are now up North. Dan lives in Liverpool and teh dyno is nearby.

If you want to get your Yota re-mapped speak to Essex. They can do it in Essex or up North. I think that is what matters.

They have been a good supplier to the Lotus community.

Posting all this old gossip is not helpfull.

They’re the folks for Honda/Hondata mapping in the NW - good set up.

Dan is now based over the water, the sincs dyno is now there. Essex will trailer the car there now if it needs maping.
