yeah i saw it was up for sale again. i did love that car so im sure it will make a nice car for someone.
Are these still for sale/orderable or have I missed the boat?
Contact David Williams at Speedline - [email protected] (or do a search on his name for a phone number)
He’ll probably be able to sort you out.
Ian
I have emailed him and had no reply …
phone him on 01952582825
Thanks for that Chris. Wheels are ordered
David @ Speedline tells me there are 3-4 sets remaining… so if you want some … better be quick !!
Guys, we’ve had a few issues with our new wheels from this batch . Thread here if you’re interested.
anyone else had trouble? I haven’t even checked the pressures since they were fitted.
But they’ve not gone “flat in 2 days” like SteveJ has reported ?
David is not back in the office till tomorrow, so waiting to hear what they propose to do.
I’m assuming that there are no other wheel options for the Exige except Speedline Corse or original Rimstock?
That’d be correct, as far as I know. In the correct sizes at any rate (or in this country at a sensible price! ).
Ian
Well, there are these wheels

Which look ace, but cost a fortune (over 2000)
I’ve seen the KMS wheels and they’re lovely (and very light), however they’re also very expensive and no-one has run them over here. Importing wheels direct from that part of the world is a bit of a worry too.

Isn’t the pattern very similar to the Speedlines and so will have the same cooling issues associated?
i spoke to dave at speedline and he’s looking into the last batch. mine seem fine though.
Fingers crossed we just got a rogue set then, would be horrible if they were all like ours.
I’m waiting on another 100% set to be sourced, but good positive response from David so far.
Hi guys,
I’d like to fit S2 whels to my S1 exige. I’d like to fit these wheels:
http://www.sector111.com/handler.cfm?cat_id=20218&cat_id=20268&prod_id=1317&function=product
Do you know if I can fit them directly ? Sorry for a dumb question but a bit lost here…
What would I need to fit them ? Do I have to add a hub (thus increasing the weight). ?
Thanks for help.
Try a search on ‘spacer’. I seem to recall somebody had made something that allowed S1 wheels on S2, or visa versa. Any which way it seemed an ugly solution.
Ian
Thanks Ian, will do…
Agree with you though, I won’t do it if I need spacers
