I ran a company in Redditch ,years & years , ago and one of my fellows Directors had one as his company car. I remember taking it to visit Talbot ( we were a supplier) when they were in Coventry, coming back , in the pouring rain, entered Stoneleigh island , fast, hit a diesel spill, span 4 or 5 times , and mounted the centre of the island in the flower bed.
Held up the rush hour traffic from B’ham & Coventry for 2 hours, whilst the firebrigade and police cleared up the diesel and removed the Talbot from the flowers…they were a bit overpowered, and I , a bit over enthusiastic !
