Lotus racing (evosal)

Top thread! really enjoying this. What is the score with the RS2000 at the back in this pic, was it a find and do you still have it. :sunglasses:

Yeah, was interested in the RS myself

In my younger days I ran both a Mk1 and Mk2 RS Mexico. Great fun and, in their day, the cars to have. These were mineā€¦

If we are talking RS ivā€™e had a few of those

RS 1600 BDA

1973 RS2000 ex ford press car

1972 Mexico

1974 RS 2000

1969 escort twin cam

1974 RS 2000

I want one!

Chris, are you going to open a new Auction House???

brilliant thread! Loved it!! keep the pics coming - any more Lotuses?

Hi Mike
That would be good, its definitely the way to sell them.
All these cars (well most of them) I donā€™t have anymore, they have all been sold over the last couple of years, while I have been selling elises and exiges I have also been selling classics, some in show condition and a lot of Barn find type stuff, like I said I have an interest in all kinds of cars im just lucky I can make a living out of my hobby !!

If you get any more interesting RSā€™s or nice Elans (not the FWD ones) in, give me a shout

1994 Aston Martin DB7, it was chassis number 1 then was taken from the factory and re built by prodrive as the ā€œgentleman racerā€ for Aston, they did two, chassis number 1 (this car) and chassis number 6

Really wish I had kept this !!

I bought this as a complete wreck in a moment of madness after a heavy accident, it was a huge job to repair and ridiculous cost, lots of things were bespoke to that car like all the suspension, bonnet, radiators etc, I had to get Aston to make a new bonnet, that cost Ā£12k alone !!
