Yes, I believe there are very few of us left with our genuine choppers
No Russ, there’s a capital ‘C’ in Chopper but not in winkle!
Lol, the choppers came as a batch of five, the first one is a very rare “silver jubilee edition” made for the queens jubilee in 1977 (I had one brand new in 77, I was very spoilt !! ) worth serious money now, a mint one is worth £2500-£3000 !!
Well it must just be me that thinks they look like a load of rusty old nails
Possibly my age, maybe in a few years I will appreciate them… Well quite a few years hopefully
On the plus side I did see what looked like a nice black sport 160 in the background
You would be surprised at the price some of these knackers fetch, what do you reckon for the Rolls Phantom ? Alvis silver eagle and the morris Cowley ?
1959 Heinkel kabin cruiser, off the road since 1971, I got the car and the garage it had been in for all those years.
1965 Mini Moke, off the road for 30 years
Stop it Chris ! … too much … I guess at least 50K or more for the Rolls even in that state ?
I so much want that Moke …
Never mind a barn, how big’s the warehouse?
Stunning stuff Chris
How about you organise an Exigers meet at your place so we can all soak up the nostalgia?
Sounds good to me, at least I can bring a bottle in thanks for the two fuse box covers you sent me (as newbie FOC) 6 years ago (I haven’t forgotten .
RR, £25k I reckon on a guess, must be £20+ worth of engine rebuild…
And stop posting nice Beemer pictures!
Where are all these cars coming from??? Is this all from one haul?
Presumably you’ve no intention to restore these yourself - just sell them on?
I still can’t get my head round this. At what point does someone decide “you know what, I’m never going to drive that car again. I’ll just park it in that leaky barn and let it rot.”
Wish I had a barn
Keep 'em coming!!
Oh, and how much for the red Chopper?..
