Sounds good Mark but im a bit confused re - the regs, where can we find whats allowed or not ??
I read its lotus product only !! so would a honda conversion be allowed with the mother of all superchargers ??

No you cheating Northern Pikey!!!

Its only for current models, like the 2-11 and Exige Cup cars I think

Im under the impression the cars from the new modified class will be eligable ??

I think your impression is wrong matey. We are allowed to compete at the LCE rounds, but we are not eligable for LCE.

I mean come on Lotus aren’t going to want an Audi coming first and a Honda coming 2nd are they!!

Dave you tart!!!

In all fairness, Chris has usually crashed or broken down well before me!!! Plus I don’t usually see him, because he is down the back!!!

Is he a shirtlifter, as well as a CNM?

Probably!

Lotus Cup Europe looks to have 3 classes next year going off the promo.

Production S1 and S2 Class (i.e current Class A cars)
S2 Exige Cup Class
And 2-11 Class.

As Sean say’s, the new ‘modified class’ cars should be able to run in the race it’s just that they wont show on the results sheet for LCE… (or that’s the way i read it anyhoo’s_)

I have done last WE the lotus Cup Europe in Monza with my Honda SC Exige S1. Only problem you are only allowed on the regularity race. Sprint being only available for 2-11 and exiges Cup with slicks. I was allowed to enter the reg race, although nobody cares the “reg” part of the sentence. Everybody goes for the scratch. Only Bemanis, 2-11 and Cups for the reg, they just fitted Yokos 048 or Toyos 888 for the reg race.
Well to cut a long story short, yes I was able to compete with a Honda SC exige. And I think the Lotus persons that were there did not really like the fact that I finished 1st overall at the race (read first to cross the finish line, but third on reg ranking). Thanks Honda.
Went to the track via road and came back the same but bloooody BRAND NEW LH driveshaft died 30 kms from home. Fed up !!!

For info, there is no regularity next year.

So i take it an s/c Honda would not be allowed ??

Chris - correct.

See promo video (made last week @ Croft, whilst you were out thrashing the Frogmobile?) http://www.lotuscupeurope.com/preview_video.html

Anyway that will soon change if they need to make up numbers on the grid

Chris

There are 3 Classes:
