I don’t see what’s stopping stones flicking up off the front wheels and going through the side-mounted radiators
I’ve also been to the show as well, the product manager told me that in the production models the front cycle wings/mudguard would be extended further. The pre series production would cost around 55000euros = 38000, there’ll be an options of 220, 265 and 285bhp and only comes with 6sp sequential box only The 300 would be end of next year with either manual or DSG box.
3m protective films or similar would also be offered as option to protect front and sides…
Must admit I haven’t looked at this thread until now.
It does look pretty good but I hope anyone looking to buy one isn’t too disappointed with all the bodywork changes they will need to do to make it road legal. The car in the pics is a long way from being legal, the front mudguards for starters as they seem to acknowledge.
I also struggle to see how they can do it for 40k as a carbon tub will be very expensive, then plus the various components they will be buying a low volume prices.
I think the production version will be a lot closer to the 55k of the pre-production ones.
I hope it does well for them but I think the initial claims are optimistic.
