K20 JRSC S1 Exige

Its always an age old question. Go for the colour you want whether that’s OE or not. Its your car, you have to enjoy it.

Originally was Laser Blue = B85 - the VIN plate should confirm it

I hope it’s ok to post this . . .?

2005 I’ve still got the t-shirt :grinning:

:+1:That was when I still had the 111S and we’d not met, I think

Just alittle update

Sorted the strange belt slipping noise from the supercharger when high in the revs,

I also changed the air filter to more of an open filter to give it alittle more induction noise

Changed a few geo settings and took it for a little test

Was now all ready for Snetterton on the 1st April

Which was an interesting day being very wet for most of the morning not ideal for ZZR
There where loads of red flags and a few longish stoppages.
Was nice to meet bobby who pop along on his bike

Mid afternoon it started to dry and managed to get some good laps in

Around 2:30 it started rainning again so pack up and headed home.

I have a little list of parts I need to get
main one is updated/grading the Shifter.

Good to see it in action again👍

Good to meet you Grant, I hope the wallet has taken a bashing!

Car looks great :grinning:

More Track Time done

Wasn’t planning on doing another some soon but a few friends where doing it and I’ve not done Donington in years.

Since Snetterton I’ve not done anything with the car apart from alittle tweek to the geo and ride height

The last trackday was the 1st time using the car since swapping the disc and pads wasn’t that happy with then but put it down to bedding in.

So I was looking forward to see how they would perform at Donington and they felt the same and wasn’t confident on them had a few moments due to this, apart from that and think it’s time for some new tyres the day was really good and enjoyed Donington park and it stayed dried all day which is always good.

Time to investigate the brakes issue and get some parts ordered ready for Goodwood in a few months

Pretty Un-nerving badging no faith in your stoppers.

Enjoying the updates

Nice driving despite the braking issues! Looks like the car is hustling along nicely! :+1:t2:

Great videos & pics and great seeing the Exige back out being used as intended :+1:t2::+1:t2::+1:t2:

Thanks for the comments

Gonna strip the whole braking system down and see what’s up

Bit off progress

Post Donnie check over

Noticed my suspension bolt was bent(to much curbs)

So replaced all bolts on the front and new spacers

Also started on the brake system

Thought while I had everything off I’ll Refurb the calipers

You must have been (ab)using those curves.

I suppose you paid for all the circuit, you are using all the circuit :+1:

Updated time

Made a new front splitter and had a longer rear diffuser made

I also ordered some new tyres went for AR1 but up the sizes 205/45 front and 235/45 rears

Finished of painting the calibers

No I was ready for Goodwood

Goodwood was fun got some good laps in I forgot how fast the circuit is

Still having problems with my brakes I seems to be the cap of the reservoir not sealing I’ve tried to found on but no joy emailed ap about replacing the reservoir but they not much help.

A few more things planned in the next few months

You wont miss those calipers! Inspired by a cadbury colour?

Ended up putting more coats on to make it alot darker
