Itch needed scratching..

Very nice Dave, is it an R300?

Awesome Dave!!!

You dirty dirty boy

Yea, it’s an R300 - 2.0 Duratec engine with a Sadev sequential gearbox…

Only 175bhp or so I think, but it was doing a decent job of keeping up with most on track !

Yup, my car is quicker but not with me at the helm. Even in a straight line there’s not as much difference as you’d think. Didn’t stop us from having epic fun hammering around with Dave in the R300, me in my Exige and Geoff in the 620R. We were not hanging around

I think Dave’s itch might be contagious

I’m staying the hell away from caterhams!

Lovely looking Cat and spec’

I’m the same. Caterhams are at the top of a list of cars I won’t even sit in as i know I’d end up buying one.

That.sounds.awesome.

Congrats. I can see you are going to be out even more often on track now :stuck_out_tongue:

Good to hear bad badger is in fine fettle again!

Following 30mins in Dave’s R300 at Spa I have now reached stage 4 itch

Thankfully, my itch level is back at zero now

I have to say, I’ve really really enjoyed my days in the car so far…completely different to the Exige, still getting to know the car and lots to learn yet… had a great session at Spa with another R300 owner who races a bit - they are deceptively quick little cars.

hahahaha Brilliant!!

that does look decidedly cool…

Sub 1.50 laps at Spa, so it’s not slow considering it’s about as aerodynamic as a brick

Vettel’s lap record is 1:47 so you were close that eh!!

Hahaha… perhaps it was more like sub 2:50  Oops !

Deceptively quick is exactly it. So very different to an Exige but for having fun on circuit they are awesome,…damn my stage4 itch

that is rapid
still, the master of the late turn in can peddle a bit

I’ve tried everything, nothing is working :open_mouth:

There is a cure…
