Could my K days be numbered?
I looked round the info on forums, and called four conversion companies. I ended up getting my conversion done at sinclaires. They offered one of the best kits but also were happy to modifiy the basic package to suit me more.
Owing to being run off the road i didn’t get a huge amount of time in the car, only a couple trackdays and a few weeks on the road, but i was very pleased with it. I’ve got my replacement car down with wayne now with the NA k20a2 install nearly complete.
If you’d like a close look at, and a run in, a very recent conversion i’d happly stop by your place on the way back up. If you don’t recall i came to look at your silver S1 and owe you a go.
The link up kits use different drive shafts now - are yours the new or old ones? You might be able to get some from geary @ eliseparts?
Mine is conversion #008 from MSC. It was done on Nov. 05 from the bill I have (bought the car back in aug 06 with the conversion already in and I had the SC installed by MSC).
I don’t know if the shafts are newer than that now ?
