are these in production now? i was under the impression it was a one off for an Asian client?

The car for the “Asian client” was a completely different car eg V6 GM Engine…
The GT3s use the Toyota engine. They are purely race cars, so are not “in production” as such. I’m sure Lotus/Cadena will sell you one - don’t expect much change from �120K though, or immediate delivery

Price wise, yep!
The GT3 has full carbon body, sequential 6 speed box, forged wheels, 285bhp, top of the range Ohlins, etc, etc which isn’t cheap! Throw in development time/profit margin etc, & if the factory sells one, you’ll be looking at �100K - �120K.
Perhaps you could persuade Jonny5 to add to one his fleet of trackday hire cars?

get into enough trouble with 130bhp in the Bat Cat, but its worth a try - enjoyed having his Honda’d Elise at Donny recently, and there’s a possibility of putting an R in a Caterham
