Think you’ve got a luxuary Europa interior there… but must say I do like the look of the GT3!

But at 60K… I’m stuggling… I only paid 2k more for my 996GT3RS… that’s a very tough market position!

Looks fabulous Definately a mix-up with the Europa interior there.

The new back end reminds me a bit of the Farboud GTS. Only much better.

They should do a limited run of these, and then make the new body panels standard across all Exige models. They’d sell loads if they could make something that looks that good for 35-40 grand.

I was just thinking how clean and smooth the front end looks. Obviously the oil cooler intakes are missing, but it took me ages to notice the indicators are gone! Must be incorportated into the main lamp units. That’s one way to solve the problem of the indicators popping out

I think it looks great… but that price is a choker.

Maybe a good used buy ?

They have to sell them first to end up with a second hand buy, and at 60k I’m not sure there’ll be many takers (apart from the ever flush Russ)

I reckon it’ll turn out like the S1 in terms of desirability. It’ll only be made in very, very limited numbers (ie min for race homologation), & those who buy them will want to keep them.

On the face of it, even I would rather have one over a Porsche GT3RS, & that’s saying something

Looks nice!

Love the black surround around the lights!

Interior looks a bit … ‘pimp’

As we’ve already pointed out, the interior shot is actually the new “luxury pack” for the Europa. Shouldn’t really be in this thread.

Mmmm - finally an S2 S1 … IYSWIM

I will be keeping an eye-out on Pistonheads for one 2nd hand

If I had 60k I think I would be going for a used GT3RS - values would be a bit more stable.

Knowing Lotus I think the face lift will filter down to other Exiges soon as they have sold the required allocation.

I find the front looks better as i never liked the indicators.

But the back looks like its been overstyled. Its a bit fast and furious and not enough motorsport.

Maybe it looks better in the flesh.

But then again, maybe not…

Looks under wheeled and droopy…Cal look front, Fast N Furious rear does not do it for me, i am VERY sorry to say.

It just doesnt seem as coherent a design as either the S1 or the S2, I think Bruh las spot on with it being all a bit Fast N Furious .

I really cant believe Im saying this about an Exige of all things, but I dont really like it…

But I think, I hope, seeing it in the flesh may change my mind…

It doesnt look right around the wheel arches, are the wheels supposed to bigger or something ?

agreed, need more filling out the arches

60k is an awful lot for esentially a few bits and bobs tacked on here and there. I rekon junks could do a way better job for less than a quarter of that

Now if it had a v6 in the back we may be talking…

I’ll get some pics next week at geneva for you guys. Steve

if three new cars will be at the LOT 1st race i bet this is one of them

My god…thats awful! And 60k for a wheezy Yamaha engine.

And to think a fair few on this board thought the KTM X-Bow looked pants

Its a bit fast and furious and not enough motorsport.

Well said, I’m a Autosport reader, not Max Power.

I’m assuming that the front has been restyled to improve the aero of the Cadena cars this year, but for me the back is unforgivable.

[color:“blue”]You lot really aren’t getting this… Its a homologation special and thats it. Of course 60K is massively over the odds but this isn’t about selling cars for Lotus, its about winning at GT racing and hopefully regaining some of the tooling costs for the new aerodynamic bodywork by selling some spammed up road cars.

Personally its nice to see some of the aero ideas talked about when I was involved coming to fruition and will be interested to see what the race car looks like. Just need somebody to buy me one to go Brit GT racing in 2008… any takers?
