Best laugh I’ve had all year [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

what a sadness…better a good laugh anyway! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

LOvL!Suffice to say - THE EXIGE IS BEST!!!

I only posted to see if there would be any interest from Elise Owners in buying my Car - next thing I know WWIII starts [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Right, thats it I’ve changed my mind…I don’t want an Exige anymore because I’m not into all that “Gay spoiler and Gay max power body skirts” shenanigans…!Hilarious thread [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]However I find it hard to believe that someone who has raced in the Autobytel championship, and had an Elise for “6+ years” can call Exiges “gay” and their drivers “poofs” and obviously not see the point of them.

They are also now trying to say that there is no boot…sigh!C

I don’t usually bite to “my cars better than yours” kind of threads, but this Simon (s) guy… ho hum…I just had to join in!

Having just gone at it on track with an Elise Sport 190 I find their comments very hard to believe…Roy

Check with Lotus on the times that they go round Hethel in, wasn’t the Exige second fastest only beaten by the Espirit ?

Simon Scuffham (connected with Eliseparts IIRC)is a bit of a wind up merchant - so you wind him up!! - he does know his beans on Lotus tho’ - has helped me in the past with tech issues - thread shows how polarised Elise/Exige owners can be - vive la difference! - have now fitted Thule box onto roof to replace lack of boot space!

What a laff arf arf… [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/image] I esp liked the “Thanks you c**k smoker” I must remember that one. Gay,puff,can’t drive…etc [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

I have to admit that I was a bit p***ed off at his comments, and was inclined to write a long answer, but… what the heck, let it be.If a guy has been successfully racing an Elise for 4 years and still does not understand what really a wing does and does not, then he is not that analytical, and would do better applying some brains into it.Then again, for the tracks he races on you don’t really need a wing, and he seems to be quick on those.Whatever! On the other hand, made me realize how much I overspent buying a new Exige and paying 30K for it!Help! I need some comfort!Uldis [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image][This message has been edited by Uldis (edited 12 February 2003).]

In what way is he connected to Eliseparts? Whatever way, that kind of attitude can’t do their reputation much good.

UldisLook on the bright side … you didnt buy the 190 conversion [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

[image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] thanks, you made my day.Uldis

hi all!! having just been on the lotus bbs site…are all elise owners like this about their cars…? they recently ganged up against the vx…seems that they are a sad lot…

HA HA, I was having a dull day at work until I saw this, now I think I will be laughing for the rest of the week!!I Thought that the next war was in Iraq not in the lotus showroom between Elise/Exige owners!
