The drivers side is ok but here is the passenger side
Looks EXACTLY like mine
No letters either, not even a recall about duff fuel pipe rubber.I’d be interested to know what the dealer fix is for the floor.
I can’t believe you haven’t looked at the piggin’ floor before now !!!.. not lifting the mats i might understand but waiting till now to look at the footwells takes the biscuit…
you NEED to lift the plastic mat and clean this up - if you wait around for Lotus it will only get worse, however, if you pull the mats up and clean the mess and then keep it dry it won’t get any worse until the dealer network are ready to repair them all.
I can’t believe you haven’t looked at the piggin’ floor before now !!!

In my original post I did mention that I had already checked the footwells and found some bumps!
To be honest, I struggle to even get the time to wash my car most the time and especially with the HGF of late the car was starting to be a PITA and the mats have been pushed to the back of my to-do list
But anyway the car is running really well at the moment thanks to Nick Whales and Im finally starting to enjoy driving the damn thing again
… Even if my feet do drag on the road through the holes I havent bothered about!
sorry about all the finger wagging… but its a really easy job to lift these mats and save yourself future hassle. - you already have the corrosion but you can prevent it worsening… only a few minutes to get the mats up and then maybe 30mins to clean the mess up (you don’t need to lift the black double sided sticky tape).
Has everyone removed the rubber matting from their Exiges or have you left it on ," if you cant find no bumps ".
Checked my floor , but it seems alright up to now , do you think I should leave the matting or take it up as a precaution
