I do like Silverstone. There’s just so much room and while the corners may not be quite as challenging as some it’s feels safe and easy to push it there.
I thought its medium straights would mean it wouldn’t suit the Exige but it never runs out of puff and you can enter the faster bends at amazing speeds. I thought other cars would catch me more there but only the Radicals, R500s and an incredibly driven GT3 have come past.
Nuerburgring and Spa-Francorchamps are my favourites.
The ring you need to know to enjoy it to the full, but Spa is easily the best ‘normal’ circuit in the world.
Also enjoyed Bedford, Rockingham, Croix-en-Ternois, Folembray, Donington, Mallory Park, Brands Indy, Brands GP, Silverstone GP, Goodwood, Lydden Hill. The only ones I find a bit boring are the airfields, Elvington and Bruntingthorpe, okay initially but after a short time the fun wears off.
Not done all the above in the Exige but have in a combination of that and the S160 I used to have.
I like Cadwell, Oulton, Donington (who many claim as dull), Croft (even if very flat) and Knockhill.
Anglesey has got to be the most suited for an Exige even if short and far.
my faves are Cadwell and Donington (apart from starkeys straight - although its nice getting the braking just right before the chicane back onto pit straight).
KH is excellent for exige and i prefer it to Anglesey… they have many similarities
My favourite corners are The bottom of Duffas @ KH, Craners and Macleans @ Donny and Cascades @ Oulton ( )
Nurburgring was just a fantastic place - if you enjoy a new experience every time you do a (14 mile) lap … it was the first track I every drove the Exige on but I would never go on there again on a public day, we had the track to ourselves for 4 days and then its usually just you and one or two others … ( no bikes, coaches, camper vans …)
Donnington gets my vote in the UK (Mostly because every time I’ve been to Oulton its rained and someone has hit the wall ending the day ), although for some reason I like Bedford GP … I think its to do with “nothing to hit”
