Nobody has mentioned Goodwood or Hethel or Llandow or Pembrey
I was booked to go to Hethel a couple of months ago , but it got cancelled .
Something to do with Lotus being fed up of competitors taking photos of new projects .
So no more Hethel trackdays for now
Instead ive decided to book Anglesey and Oulton park in the near future .

Mike, I wouldn’t have said they were the most exciting even if any trackday in an Exige is a blast.
I’d have said 1111 has booked a couple of cracker there.

I mentioned Goodwood earlier.
I drove the S160 there last year, interesting place and quite an atmosphere as everything looks 1960’s.
The circuit is fast though, I was touching 130mph twice a lap (that was the rev limiter in 4th ). Downside was the fact that there is zero run-off in places, not to mention the noise issues!! Couple of times we had to stop to allow the ‘average’ noise level to reduce below the maximum.
I actually enjoyed the day but not the best circuit for an Elise/Exige.
As for Hethel I believe the real reason the trackdays were stopped was due to Health and Safety.

On or off track safety ? Last time I was there someone had managed to stack their Elise half way up a tree… so wouldn’t be surprised if it was track safety.
