No worries
Needs cutting out and a big centre exit exhaust up there
^^^^^^^^^^ this, get it done
It’s next on the list after I go sequential
Means absolutely nothing to me, what exactly are you doing/trying to fix/improve/f#ck up ?
Custom dash John.
On the GARW dash you can add / remove dash. I want to create something like this
I have this
and a few others but Id like mine to look like the above.
I have to code it and “skin” it.
Impressive
and I will defo use it if you are able to code it - if you do manage to work out how it all works, there are some tweaks to the ‘LFA’ dash I would love you to help me with
I can see all the QML now.
What things are you seeing?
well… the water temp in C - the range is 80 - 120 - would be way better if it was 60 - 110 for example and the middle was 85, otherwise the bar is only just visible, plus lotusdave implemented a dynamic red line as the car warms up - but only for Fahrenheit, so it would be cool to have that using Celsius. Lastly, not sure its possible, the oil pressure needs some damping..
So, if you have the time and inclination or I will wait for him to update it (but I have asked a few times already). But looking forward to your dash !!
Wheel refurb company called this afternoon so off I popped to collect my straightened , freshly done alloy.
Coated it with some minty stuff and fitted to the exige
Off I went to SeriouslyLotus today for the cars service.
It had ;
Oil
Oil filter
Gearbox fluid
Brake fluid
Alignment
It needs ;
4 new boots
Car almost in rude health and loved driving it. Never gets old the supercharger whine.
I did have my head turned by a very yellow, very nice Emira. What a fantastic car that is. Its like the s2 got middle aged. It bigger, its not as nimble but it makes the right sort of sounds.
Id consider one for sure.
Car’s looking good, Andy
Don’t get too close to it! Some / lots of stone chips and cracked windscreen
I have a dilemma
I am booked onto a track day in Spa ( yay ! )
My wife is coming along ( yay ! )
Its likely to be cold , and wet ( boo! )
I have limited space in the exige boot for helmets , hans , and two peoples luggage ( boo! )
I absolutely cannot bring spare tyres so a set of Yoko 52’s will have to suffice.
Now here is my dilemma.
Do I sacrifice the Exige and take the Cup?
Its going to kill me not being able to have a quick car on the circuit , but what a circuit.
I found ao48 madness in the wet, aquaplanning on the m1 coming back from Silverstone, I don’t care how good you think you are are driving, when the rubber is not on the road you are a passenger. If 52s are as bad as 48s in standing water the choice is easy. I junked my 48s as and use yoko 105/107 or waterever they are. I still remember floating, beside a 40 tonne truck hoping for grip!
I do have experience of 52s in the wet and they are not bad tbh!
Ironically it was outside spa when I found out that they were decent!
