Looking good!
SeriouslyLotus will be templating these and have them available for sale in the near future @Fonzey @matt447
Love it!
Now, when you see Messrs SeriouslyDave and @JDS, can you ask them to price a set up for my mate and me please?
Ha! You beat me to it - I was just replying to you when you typed this!
…and before you start, again, yes I do have mates. Cheeky so-and-so
No problem to price a set up, but will need a little more information. Can you let us know what car, age, spec, condition, etc? As I am sure you can appreciate, there can be a large difference between an as new Elise on Bilstein dampers for road use, to a well used S1, on 20 plus year old adjustable dampers, where everything on the suspension is bent, worn or seized.
Feel free to PM me or give me a call on the workshop number - 01482 702111
Errr, might have misread what you asked, thought suspension set up, rather than set of plates!!
Ha! No worries, I did think it was odd, but I’d already replied to you, so yeah… You’ve got mail, lol!
Plates look bang on.
Dave has had a busy year on the tin snips
I have had some more updates from the fine gents @ SeriouslyLotus
Parts will now be shot blasted and sent for coating.
New oil sandwich plate thermostat fitted and seal.
Delighted with the progress…
Looking good!
Good effort!
What did you use to clean it up with?
A Dave.
A John took it apart, a Dave cleaned it …
More for my reference rather than anyone elses. I have discovered that there are two different types of ARB …
Mine is part 46 , with part 47 bushes.
Ill speak to @JDS and @seriouslylotus on the next steps.
There’s also a 46a for later cars.
See my handy screenshots
I am struggling to find any “uprated” thicker earlier ARB. I suppose I cant miss what I didnt have.
There must be some sort of upgrade though, surely?
