Exige S2 with added supercharger

I know the feeling, had my finger hovering over the SORN button last night… but I’ll let it go one more month! Still some dry/crisp evenings ahead I hope!

I dont sorn mine for the simple reason that the second I do it will be a month of cold , crisp , sunny days.

Yup sounds about right. I’ve been out in mine a couple of times recently on cold/damp/muddy roads. Certainly not a fast car in those conditions, but it has been good fun - and a good alternative to Coffee for waking me up on a Sunday morning…

Me too!

So the mighty car mods videos are not doing a lot for my research into making the already pretty quick exige go that little bit faster.

I have literally just had a eureka moment and worked out that my car really isnt a katana car any longer. I literally do not have anything on the katana other than the mp62. No katana manifold, no injectors, its all been swapped out with the lotus kit.

Now, this brings me onto some very , very naughty thoughts about “upgrading” the supercharger to a Harrop TVS1320. Same boost, less heat , more power …

Almost like someone made a kit ready for my side mounted charge cooler.

Its been a while since I had the exige out. I cant recall exactly but I think around 6 weeks ago. This evening my eldest resumed his football training so the DadTaxiCo. was pressed into service. The roads were neither dry or grease free but I thought I best take out the silver plastic fantastic before something else drops off/goes wrong/leaks.

Couple of pics just because, although I hasten to add the xmas decorations are not mine!

I have done a buy and bought a pair of Tillett b6 XL seats of win.

I haven’t got them yet but was bored while wife Bond watched something girly so I popped out to the garage and did things in the garage such as remove roof, took seats out.

I found a McDonald’s McFlurry spoon, 2 plastic plugs, a flat head screw and a button. No cash sadly.

More pics when the seats arrive. Will also let my insurance co. Know about the modification once fitted.

Can i have your mohawk roof please :thumbup:

In a word. no :grin::grin:

I like the idea of matting under the seats. S1 has no such luxury so sound of £1 coins sliding to and fro is a little annoying until you can brake hard enough to shoot them forward into collection area!

I think this was an optional extra in the touring pack on the s2.

These arrived today …

Very nice…

Oohhhh :thumbup:

The lettering on the seats also match your shiny yellow Karcher jet wash.

This was a strong consideration when purchasing the seats. :smiley:

:heart::heart::heart:

I have B6 Tillet seats in my Caterham, they are surprisingly comfortable and hold you in place. They can get sticky on hot days but that’s a small price to pay.

Have you the fancy pads?

Still waiting for the video of you waddling around the house with a tillet wedged to your arse.

They look great :thumbup:

Ill whatsapp you …
