Exige S2 with added supercharger

It bugs me more than it should. My exige is used and has marks to prove it , but meh. I cant let it go

I do get it… and I have been called a GJOB before in earlier days… but as it kept getting whacked, I couldn’t justify keep spending on it or cracking an expensive one…

Hmm it’s a tough one (the decision, not the splitter). Mine is easily the ‘worst’ part of my paintwork but as it’s just a satin black it would be very easy to just DIY fix it every year. Thought about doing it now (it only bolts on btw, no rivets) but with my new rideheight I figured I’d see how long it lasts first

Not a great deal to report other than I backed the car out of the garage and ran it upto temperature.

Then quick detailer on it to remove the dust and put it back away. Its not a perfect car in terms of paint with stone chips and marks but its not bad.

The ignition has sorted itself after my intervention which I am delighted about.

Looking great! :+1:

Thank you. It’s a good 10ft car

That looks immaculate, well done.

Far, far from it but thank you!

Having removed my Y spokes today and washed them, I want your wheels. In fact any wheel easier to clean that a Y spoke.

Looking good Andy, can I ask what exhaust that is ? Like the twin tail pipes :+1:

Thank you!

It’s a hangar 111 signature exhaust.

Looking good !!

I’ve just read your thread from start to finish, your car looks fantastic and great work

Thanks DarrylH hopefully it helps someone else in the same boat who might have had the same issues and looking for fixes

Sparkly. Very nice

Tow hook upgraded!

Inspired by @Fonzey and his cam bolt lifted episode the paranoia caught and I feared impending doom more than a pandemic. I ordered the bolts from Toyota ebay online as my local Toyota parts place is temporarily closed.

Parts duly arrived and swapped out this afternoon.

I noticed no marks on the cam , slight discolouration on parts of the cam ( heat? ) and the lift bolts were marked.

All back together now and no issues to note.

Good work

Though I’m disappointed you didn’t need a retracting claw to finish the job as I did.

Ha!

I did drop one of the bolts that holds the heatshield for the boot release cable though. Its hit the bottom cover , but I just packed away …

Ill recover it tomorrow I think

Yes I’ve dropped that one a few times…
