Emerald ECU for Toyota!

Screw all the combos just set a base N/A tune and I’m ready…I don’t care about your tunes for SC/Turbo cars since they don’t come close to my setup…
Seriously why screw with the base calibration of the Lotus ECU since this will never go on a standard car…

Very impressed with the plug-play-try-buy if happy solution.

Need to get my car up to track club sooner than later. Bloody kitchen is sucking up all my funds at the moment, although have sneaked a day in with Richard Fores @ silverstone later this month.

Moist!

So how long does it take to make this plug and play work… This is starting to sound like every other plug and play solution,

Man it seems like forever for any progress with this ECU replacement…chop chop

Frank - carry on elsewhere if you need to, this isn’t getting rushed. I’m not bothered what it sounds like, the end product will speak for itself.

The ECU ran all day Sat at Silverstone on a stock Elise R, we’ve just rigged up the engine dyno with a 2ZZ SC engine with dash, throttle pedal etc to replicate an Exige, ECU is now going through a calibration process on that.

We’ve got 60 cases just about to be completed, circa 30 firm orders as well so any try before you buy demo units will be quite far down the list anyway.

Rushed ?.. :astonished:

Well, then it looks like you can’t really show anyone here or on LotusSport.org the goods and as I’ve said to myself time and time again this is BS… Thirty firm orders on a product that is unproven shows me how utterly stupid the Lotus community really is.

When fools rush in with their checkbooks in hand makes me laugh…

This is now sounding just like all the fools that jumped in and bought the aftermarket EFI standalone ECU and every last one of these fools toasted their engine…

What I thought was a ECU isue was just a faulty SC bypass controller now that I replaced it there is no need for a replacement ECU since the stock OEM unit with remaping pumps out 580 whp…

So how long does it take to tune a stock Lotus ?

Well is this solution ever gonna happen…Scuffie told me to wait but seriously…

[quote=roadboy]No DBW support as yet and no price on the Yota specific interface with CANBUS so may not even be cheaper than the other options already out there.

I’m waiting to see on this one before I get too excited. Knowing Emerald it’ll be a long wait.

If there’s no DBW available yet on the Emerald, anyone know what’s involved in going back to a cable throttle setup? Cable pedal box and cable throttle body, anything else needed?

Wes DBW is coming for the Emerald, speak to Greg.

Ok, will do. Thanks

This is a stock 2ZZ SC running on the dyno with the ECU. It’s running with the stock wiring loom DBW pedal and TB, dash etc.

First 50 ECU’s are in production.
