PAGE FIVE!!! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

Hi All,Mine is now SORTED!!!. Still hesitates at 4000 rpm at small thrttle openings but blasts on through with a wide throttle. Went sprinting at Curborough ( and gave 83boy a drive!) last Thursday and it performed faultlessly. I now love it.Mike

MikeDid a 36.27 at Curborough on Sunday - class record for something [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image] - but I reckon that it could go much quicker … with a closer ratio box and better driver …New map works great !! I’m well pleased as well !

Okay, picked up the Exige a week ago with the 190 bhp kit. After approx 300 miles on the clock, it now seems to hesitate at 2000 rpm and no longer idles smoothly at 1400 rpm. She runs fine and beautifully at 4000 rpm and above, but driving through town she sometimes likes to impersonate a kangaroo. Is this because the ECU is still trying to calibrate itself? Has anybody experienced this form of irregularity?[This message has been edited by Kevin (edited 23 September 2002).]

KevinNever suffered any hesitations but idle is a bit erratic in traffic and not so easy becuase of the generally higher (1400) tickover wanting to keep you going unless you clutch it.When thrashed idle seems to settle quite nice at 1200. ( emmisions thing ? )HTH

Kam and MattJustin at Westover has now sorted his problems with programme download, he now keeps a chip in reserve just in case download goes wrong. Had mine sorted today. A little smoother, a bit better mid range - but not much in it and could be all in the mind!
