On grass or tarmac!

Both on occasions and sometimes at the same time
Especailly when baited by a newer more powerful Scooby. When I say baited, it had of course done nothing more than just be on track.
I never heard about the Scooby baiting, please tell us more?
You thought that dust was the ground works, nop, it was Sean straight-lining the Craners chasing the blue Scoob with white wheels.
Ian
LOL
would love to see that
I need some inside information on the white 211… I heard a rumour that it even managed to hit an apex whilst on track ?
I’m scared it’s going to come hunting for me at Anglesey…

It definately hit the apex at the bottom of the craners on one lap

Did it have coolant at the top of the craners and none at the bottom then ???
No idea when he lost it all, it was the sierra cosworth that dumped all the oil on the track early in the day
Thought I’d wait until most had their say on yesterday before commenting further
Not wishing to be negative but the amount of ‘race’ cars doing ‘testing’ was quite high along with some lack of skill/car control. I counted 5 red flags in the morning session that I was aware of to recover spun/chucked off cars.
I’m no driving god but managed no spins and only one pant changing moment when like a muppet I lifted half way down the craners
A few peeps rightly commented on the ages of some of the Ginetta drivers and they really didn’t look like they were old enough for ‘proper’ driving licences.
Based on my limited BAT experience I think this was not representative of a BAT only day and the Pistonheads influence detracted from the day for me. I will be staying clear of ‘shared’ days in future. I supose a quick check of the PH’s forum gives you a taste of what to expect
I think to be honest it was caused by being a noisy day with limited cars on track along with being early in the season so a lot of shakedown runs going on as well, as you say not noral at all for on of the BaT days, also with the pits the way they were our briefing was more about that than driving standards.
Just to say I had a fab day yesterday although it was really a test day for me with the r-eleven as it hadn’t been out of 1st gear untill driving on to track for the first time! , it went well apart from a dodgy tps that wouldn’t let it rev cleanly until 6000rpm and as someone has pointed out… coolant loss which phil (super star) sorted in the afternoon.

Was good to see the car, didn’t realise it was it’s first outing, to be honest it did very well only to end up with loosing it water due to a failed jubilee clip, lets hope it goes well at Anglesey too
oh dave! this pic is for you, I don’t want you under the illusion I have any idea what an apex is…
That’s more like it ! - usual service resumed - all is well !
Managed to sneak a bit of practice in with the old girl before she croaked, as some of you may recall
