Donington Show

Thanks to everyone who came & visited the LDC stand - you’re always most welcome

We signed up 20 new members over the weekend - many of them Exigers - great stuff, & thanks again.

Oh, & we won “Best Car Club Stand” of the show too

Yes well done great cars on show .

Well done for winning best club stand. Was a very impressive display of well sorted cars Was good to meet Martin and speak to you again Rob, thanks for the advice as always. Was in such a rush to get back to the track forgot to ask about the Lotus Drivers Club.

Graham.

Did you pass on a spoiler

You won …and that was without my black&white beastie.

Well done guys, gutted me and the car could not make it.

Did you pass on a spoiler

Nope, but I superglued it the roof of a racing Corsa

Good to see you again too

Advice? I thought the only advice came from you - how to convert your garage into your perfect room (with the approval of your missus)

LDC - you can join via the website http://www.lotusdriversclub.org.uk/

Hi Mr Pesky, Martin and everybody of the LDC ! It was a pleasure to meet you…a real team of passion ! My friend damien and me will soon probably be yours in the LDC !
And perhaps with a HondaSC engine…
Congratulations for the stand and thanks for your kindness

A very well deserved ‘Best Stand’ guys!.. even if certain members were perhaps (hic!) not on top form!!!

All 6 Exiges looked the dogs (good call Martin!!!)… interesting colour placement too!!!

Good to meet up again and to meet some more faces to the names here!!! Pesky thanks for the advice re: Toyo R888… got a bargain full set of stickered ones for a bloody good price too!

See you at Oulton on 13th June… perhaps sooner.

Pete.

Franc, many, many thanks for bringing Damien, & your friends to Donington. You guys have a fantastic passion for Lotus cars, & a wicked sense of humour You & Damien speak much better English than SeanB, & we had no difficulty in understanding you

As Martin said, you are all welcome to visit us at anytime, & if you want to try our cars on track, you can

It would be fantastic to meet with you at the Classic Le Mans in July - is this possible, please?

Au bientot

Yes well done great cars on show .

Thanks Ed - you did a great job again, with the DVD of Emmo driving the Goodwood Hill

Good seeing you again Rob and well done all you guys on the stand too, it did look the nuts Shame I couldn’t hang around to put some more faces to all these names, met Damon though driving out (nice meeting you mate, car looked great). Anyway adopted a 2 year year old Border Collie called Ozzy from the rescue centre I’ll start posting imagaes soon, I’m sure he’ll BOUND into a shot at some point

Back on track so to speak, Ade’s car and quest for more power looked interesting, as did the the Komo-Tec 250 by Hanger 111 - which I’m really becoming drawn too btw. I do regret though not buying another set of R888’s durr but hey what can you do?

Jonny et al - I’m hoping to have some good news for us all shortly about the Toyos - had a very interesting chat with James of SW Lotus, & Steve from Toyo on Saturday morning, before Joe Public were allowed into the show

Listening mate!

This is the reason Daddy could not take his car to be on the LDC Stand and hang out with all his Lotus mates : Chickenpox

Poor little fella - hope he’s feeling better soon, Ben.

Ta Rob. He was well enough to help me wash the Exige earlier today so I think he’s on the mend. Well when I say help, you know what I mean…

Aha, he’s usually in charge of wheel cleaning then!

Yes his tiny little hands are ideal for cleaning brake deposits off of Rimstocks
