Donington Show

Yes your display looked well nice! the best cars on it.

I notice they were selling sun glasses just round the corner to it, they must of known rob was bringing his car

Shame i didn’t get to meet you Rob as i was in a hurry to get back to work on Saturday.

The Edwards lot plugged the laptop into my ECU to let me know what the faults are, as my little red ecu light is always on. So getting that sorted soon. they are a great help.

Didn’t occur to me to join up to the club, i must do! seeing that i’m with about 3other car clubs i might as well

Cheers Mark - yep, a pity we didn’t meet. Will you be at Donny for the LOT races in a couple of weeks?

Excellent stand chaps, good to see so many Exiges - they still absolutely visually rock

it was fantastic to meet you guys at Donington

great people, great cars

the job done with the K20A is remarquable, excellent, serious,

i hope that Franck have just changed is mind and he’s no more interested in Duratec or Audi (anyway as a non german speaker, he did’nt understand a single word that sean B said about the audi )

let me know exactly when you’re heading to Le Mans to arrange a meeting

we have to see us soon

Damien “Hinge” Exire

ps : did i miss something about a “Lotus Driver Club” subscription there ?

Well done for winning best stand

Came back to have a chat with you Rob after i sorted the bits with Martin but you had run off somewhere , next time

Car looked real good

Sorry, Graham

it was fantastic to meet you guys at Donington

Monsieur Hinge - good to meet you too

We will arrive in Le Mans on Weds 9th July, & will leave on Monday 14th. We will be VERY offended if you, Franck, & your mates do not meet us, & let us buy you some beer At the circuit, we are parking with Club Lotus France, in the infield area of the Bugatti circuit.

Time for you to use your organisational skills…

Also pm sent

Congratulations on winning Best Car Club stand - absolutely AWESOME collection of cars. I’ve promised myself that one day I’m going to own a Honda engined S1 Exige, either the genuine article or a converted Elise. I do love my S2 Exige but there’s something magical about the S1. Many thanks for putting on the display guys…

All down to Martin Edwards - twas his idea, & he & his good lady (Gill) did the organisation. The rest of us had the easy bit - turn up, & spend 2 days enjoying the company of likeminded peeps

Martin’s 70th birthday bash on Saturday night at a local Thai restaurant, was a hoot too

Sorry, Graham

Dont worry I have that affect on almost everyone

70th he aged 10 years in one day then

The older you get, the quicker the time flies…

Hope your “lad” enjoyed his day out too, Tim. Bet he gave his teddybear some stick when he got home though

Top day saturday.

great cars, good company and a good Thai curry to round the evening off although I do wonder what new words the Edwards grandkids learned after a saturday night in a Thai curry house with a load of lotus nutters and a few racing gods

The LDC stand was fantastic and really deserved the best of show award. Well done Martin, Gill, Steve and everyone involved with the LDC.

Cheers Mark - yep, a pity we didn’t meet. Will you be at Donny for the LOT races in a couple of weeks?

We’ll meet one day, but really busy with work and house extension and drifting, so wont be up at donny to soon.

Still got to put your new wing on yet but the edwards team are so busy at the moment. fitted the bigger callipers, fells better!

The video looks good but it needs more Exiges

Can’t argue with that

The music is stuck in the 60’s…just like the club

Miserable git but I hope you’re referring to Club Lotus and not LDC

I was indeed referring to Club Lotus, Ive been a member since 1987

Haven’t managed much in the way of LDC events as yet (other than via donny & the LoT racing). Much better mag tho’

Thought so but just checking

Glad to hear you like the mag. Tim puts a lot of effort into it. We need a rep in the far north-west to organise our lakeland trip next year…well there’s no Classic Le Mans next year is there… (this was meant to be a joke but you never know…)
