I’m running a TRD, and would agree its not the best made thing in the world but for �23 what can we expect as long as you use some silicon sealant between the original housing and the adapter plate it should be fine 
If you’ve not fitted a TRD before the bracket does require some modification AKA bending

There’s quite a few ranging from about �150 to �500 see usual sellers eg EP, ES, Reverie 
But personally I think the TRD is fine, sounds good, is OEM, is Cheap, is Light, and flows plenty of air for over 300bhp what more could you want

To get the TRD to fit takes one hole to be drilled in the correct place, any other bending of brackets or re drilling other holes is not going to work as well, mine is coming off during the week I’ll take some pictures.
PP240 with a Gotham tune , 2bular manifold+cat+6x18 back box , yeah you can have it .
Seems plan C has worked , had chance tonight to get the car hot and result- no stalling , The TRD box must have been leaking like a bugger.
The VIS is a fair bit lighter than the TRD and takes up a lot less room for better air flow around the engine , the filter is also closer to the side scoop away from the engine heat. fingers crossed thats got it now , im getting the car booked in at EA just to check and a tune .
Did anyone ever get the Toyota part number for the MAF? I want to try to get one tomorrow as I think mine has had it 
Yeah this one http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product_info.php?products_id=1354 , in the US but it shows both Yota and Lotus part numbers , don’t buy a �40 cheap eBay one like I did at first - there wank !
