Chris Neils are currently looking at an exige supercharger conversion based on the exige S but running 260cup power, this would use official lotus parts but will not work on an elise, if indeed it can be done.
That would have been me that put the question to Paul at the CN open day to supercharge my car:)
Paul said it could be done, and is gonna get back to me with a price.

Always one step in front of you brother
Best of luck, wiring harness might be a big issue as I bet they are different, hope it all works out ok
Ade you’re right about harness, but not a big job according to Paul@CN
Spoke to him yesterday to see where he was upto, and he said that it was just the wiring harness for the additional MAF sensor that the S cars have that needed to be sorted out and then he could price it up.
not a 2nd MAF I think he means the air temp sensor that lives in the inter cooler
I bet that will just plug into the loom somewhere rather than a complete new harness, there would be no point having totally differents looms for different cars (cost) its just the same with the 211 et al.

Hello seight,
it is possible! I am doing it at the moment by myself. In my case it is an Exige out of 2005 with manual throttle. I got a OEM kit (of the 240R, 243 bhp, 5th injector set up) via a German dealer directly from Lotus Sport. But this kit is sold out for a long time and it was a unique chance to get one.
But my German dealer has just assembled / developed an own upgrade kit made of OEM spare parts for the electronic throttle versions. It is also possible for the Elise! (okay, than the IC is not an OEM-part)
If you want, please get in contact with “Autohaus Haese” and ask for Mr. Mertens.

The kit will cost 9200 including fitting and the German so called “TV” for street use and paper things… but maybe they will sell one to fit in Norway by yourself…
Good luck!
Best regards,
Thomas
Sounds interesting, but 9200 is a lot of cash even if it is fitted
It is a bit pricy, but at least it is provided with TUV, which would be an alternative to the paperwork from the factory
The tsukuba kit from sinclaires is 6500, anyone who know what the difference between the tsukuba setup and “exige s” is excluding the chargecooler/intercooler and software?

Waaaaaaaaay too expensive. The UK version from Chris Neils will cost a lot less and carry a Lotus warranty on the parts, oh and will come with a 260Cup ecu and if you want a Forge intercooler.
If this is possible and Paul can do it i’ll probably get it done. I’ve been toying with the sinclairs option for well over a year now but i’d much rather have something from CN’s.
It has been done many times. I actually owned a car that John converted originally for Marc Osmand. I do miss tat car actually, it was awesome. Gone for good now, the guy who bought it from me smashed it to bits.
No fecking way, this one???
The difference between the Exige S and a Sinclaires Tsukuba isn’t much, they both use the same Eaton M62 supercharger. Tsukuba runs the pro-alloy charge cooler, Exige S runs a shitty A/A intercooler with poor air flow from the roof scoop.
The Tsukuba runs at 9/10PSI and puts out anywhere between 275 to 300bhp along with 185 to 200lb/ft. It also has an uprated fuel pump. You also need an uprated clutch with this install.
I think the Exige S runs at 6/7PSI and puts out 260ish bhp.
Yes Jonny, that one!
Thanks!
I need to figure out the details(exactly which parts that differ), for that I guess I need to speak to Sinclaires themself

Shame to see the death of that car
Tell me about it. It was a bloody awesome thing and it really was in mint condition.
Oh well!
