Chrome Orange S2 N/A Track Build

Believe me Jake! It something to look forward to! I have driven on with the REV400 kit…

That’s feedback I like to hear!

Any ideas what power he had?

I actually posted some info about the BOE Rev400 and the SSC kit further on this thread with a video of the REV400 kit in action.

He has 350 hp at the wheels. Here is the car playing around with a Caterham R500.

This was a some days after the install and no problems after over 10 years with the kit. He has modified the gearbox btw.

Wow yeah that’s mega quick.

350whp is mental, I’m just trying to work out the main differences between the 300 and 400 which explains the power deficit, there’s no real power chart on the 300.

The engine is stock and and it runs good on Super unleaded (98), but a cheap insurance is that he ads 100ml octane boost on ever full tank on the car.

Do you know what power it is running?

They advertise it with running on 91 Ron I think for the USA fuel so i would say it would make more power over here on 99, I would have to state that to them obviously for when they flash the ECU

I dont know and i dont think he have had the car on a rolling road. He had the factory ECU that Boe flash for him.

Hi all!

Got some 15” slicks but need some wheels to put them on, 195 square setup.

Does anyone know the ET or even better does anyone recommend any that fit over the brakes and look decent?

Cheers!

Finally, car is out of the garage and ready for MOT.

Also finally, my gremlin free owning experience has been ended! Step forward lighting system.

Weird things are happening.

  • The side lights now do not work at all, the button doesn’t even illuminate yellow when pressed
  • The headlight switch now only turns on the front headlights
  • The fog light switch which previously did absolutely nothing, now operates the rear lights only

Very odd, I have GRP rear lights but had them a year now and no issues, could anyone shed some light before I start ripping it to pieces and break more stuff??

That sounds very much like the switch pack module.

Thanks Andy! What a pain, could be worse I suppose.

I best get finding it and pulling it out.
