Cheers Mr P

Another great day today, nice to see everyone and meet people I have not met before.
Chris your car is lush even though it clearly does not get the girls, my offer to swap it for my babe magnet is still open

Totally shattered now, on the way home though I did spot what looked like an exige with ears flashing at me… On closer inspection I realised it was covered in so much carbon it could only be Jonnyfox  Nice to see you mate.

Boothy

With you Boothy - MrP is a star - drags us off our arses every year to have a bloody good time - thanks to all for a totally awesome day - here’s to 2012

Cheers lads, but Benja was a great help this year in getting everyone’s interest in the event together (thanks again, matey).

However, the biggest thanks must go to everyone who makes the effort to attend - without you, your enthusiasm, your driving standards,& of course banter, it just wouldn’t happen! Special mention is well deserved for Yvonne/Garry, & Andy Dolan’s clan who take 4 days out of their busy schedules/family life by travelling to & from Scotland every year without any hesitation - totally brilliant.

Always one of the highlights of my year - thanks again one & all.

“Always one of the highlights of my year - thanks again one & all.”

Couldn’t have said it better myself Rob - had a great time

Thanks for sorting it

Rob a big thanks from Karen & I, had a great weekend, top job, cheers Harvey

Awesome weekend, thanks to everyone who attends and makes these events so enjoyable. Great to get the car out (first time this year) and clear the winter rust from the car and me !

Loved the banter in the pub in Anglesey on Saturday night with the scots crew… Dougie was getting some stick - haven’t laughed so much in ages.

Mmm…sticky toffee pudding and custard!

Thanks for a great weekend.

I really enjoyed the whole weekend after a nightmare five weeks of late nights and long weekends in the garage getting the tdi engine fitted and running. I hope I didnt upset too many people with the old oil burner.

I need to finish a few things (stop the whole car rattling) and get it mapped to produce a lot more power ready for its next outing. I am hoping for 230bhp and 400lb/ft

Phil

Edit to say ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Excellent work Phil^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :sunglasses:

Cheers Rob although I only made the Sunday. Thought that was you Andy, nice new wing mate  Good putting a few names to faces…

Crap day tho, set the car up way too hard and the clutch was shagged which got steadly worse throughout the day. Made for some seriously 5h1t3 driving all morning. Cool the clutch is just ok and three quick sessions were excellent with the car set softer early afternoon but eventually I lost most gears. Thx for your help AndyD and Steve Edwards, made it home with very little drama. Tried some spirited driving but lost gears very quickly so off to JSRacing tomorrow :frowning:

Phil, all you “Burscough Boyz” are stars for your imaganitive developments - fantastic results to date, & I’m sure that you’ll achieve your goals! :sunglasses:

Jonny - bad luck dude, & I hope you’re feeling better

Thanks Rob
Another brilliant Exiges trackday just wish I had booked the Sunday aswell but BTCC at Donny was good but knackered now after 1000 over the weekend.
Christine says glad you enjoyed the pie (but she had sent 18  )

Yep thanks Rob
Caroline and myself had a brill day,my first trackday i think i was the slowest on track but was nice to meet some nice peeps.Hope i did not cause too much of a mobile chicane.

Yeh, Thanks to Rob et al for another memorable Anglesey, not least because I was able to see my old car out on track with Andy at the helm and show off the new steed which covered at least 500 miles this weekend without missing a beat and kept the girls amused on Saturday evening with its springy back seat!

A special thanks to Gav for some very quick passenger laps and a fine demonstration of late braking, especially into Radar. It shouldn’t be possible to brake that late and get away with it every lap! Awesome.

My attempst at photography are available to view on Picassa ANGLESEY PICS

Massive thanks to Pesky for organisational efforts and to all the chaps from exiges.com who made it a most enjoyable day. I must apologise if I held anyone up or got in the way. Might’ve been my first trackday but won’t be the last. Of course I immediately opened the racing driver’s book of excuses and blamed the tyres for my steady progress.

My dad took a few shots of the day and had a brilliant passenger ride with Pesky. Now to work on getting him into an Exige too…

I like this picture

Thanks again to MrP for organising and all for coming along was a great day, I wish I could have done both days, as luck would have it I ran out of front tyres in one day so the second would have been a problem anyway…

FANTASTIC weekend Rob thanks for sorting it AND the weather too.
Whole event is majic. especially as nothing went wrong with the car this year…well not that I have found yet!!

Roll on next one.
Have fun one and all.

As always another great day out with the exiges.com gang. Big thanks to Pesky and Benja for organising the day and the perfect weather they provided for us for free. Sorry I couldn’t hang around for Sunday.

Your welcome Mike, its always nice to take passengers out for a blast as racing can become a very lonely, self centred affair at times…

A year away seems too long… Lets do it again in the Autumn!!!

Gav

Yep, awesome weekend!!!

What he said, twice!

The stars aligned, I even had a great drive home. 270 miles (inc Snowdonia), non-stop, 4.5hrs, 1 tank.

My body is feeling it all a bit though.
