Cheers Mr P

What he said, twice!

The stars aligned, I even had a great drive home. 270 miles (inc Snowdonia), non-stop, 4.5hrs, 1 tank.

My body is feeling it all a bit though.

The beauty of Honda power eh Ian ?

Sounds like everyone had an amazing time, I will make every effort to make it next

I didnā€™t expect it to clear traffic though!

Hey, your avatar is well out of date.

As usual a storming couple of days :sunglasses: Great company, great cars and a great standard of driving with the usual suspects setting a storming pace.

The car behaved well and was pretty stunning on circuit. It was great to be back behind the wheel after many months and after mostly ragged sessions it started to come togetherā€¦well a bit.

I felt pretty lousy on the day and its kind of gone downhill from there tbh. The car is pretty hard work on the road and by the time I got back Iā€™d practically lost the will to live. Today I feel unbelievably exhausted. Iā€™m starting to think that it might be fumes ingress into the cabin as my symptoms are a lot like Carbon Monoxide poisoning

Was a top weekend - its always a pleasure to come back over and meet up with the usual suspects

Driving standards on Saturday were impecable, Sunday was a little different :astonished: but equally Steve and Stan had fixed the falling off exhaust and John ( JSR ) had got me a new set of Performance Friction PF97 pads and the car was transformed. PF97 are now my favourite pad and lockwire is a true friend.

More power in the go and stop department really helps ā€¦ only slight concern was Stans ā€œI could only drive it quicker if it was my own carā€ ā€¦ statement

Ive already booked next year time off and cant wait.

Ben - if you have the same damn bug I have I sympathise cos I feel really crap today as well !

Top snogging!

BIG Thanks to Unkle P for arranging the day.

As usual great weekend, meeting up with the usual folks, good weather and the trackday wasnā€™t too bad either.

Thanks to Mike for the run in the Cortina, who needs 4 tyres on the road when 3 will do.

Always worth the trip just for the social element alone.

Yep, that happened to me a few years back at/to/from Anglesey (year Hyla snapped his toe-link). Itā€™s like bad flu but without the nasel congesion. I even went to the doctors!

It proved to be a blowing exhaust gasket, nasty business.

Sorry bud :frowning:

Thanks Mr P, great to meet with you at the end of the day also thanks to Book a Track for a very well organised event, thanks also to Steve Bestwick for showing Mike and I the ropes on our first track day in the zige. Heres a pic of of my car leaning a bit like Boothys  Sorry never got over to talk to you

Steve I never saw you in front or behind me all day, which is more than can be said for most of the S1ā€™s that seemed to swarm past most of the time :sunglasses:

And Iā€™m sure every one got used to this site. look in your mirror - nothing, blink and look again and heā€™s right up your :astonished:

Great reports, just what I was looking for. I planned to rev higher and brake later this year. . . Ah well,itā€™s going to have to wait till next year

Ditto Gav in his 2-11! I need to get faster just to reduce the pressure on my mirrors a littleā€¦

No you donā€™t, you need to enjoy yourself safely. But instruction tends to help both!

Quite right, Ian - sorry if I appeared flippant! My 20 min session with Tim helped tremendously on Saturday and Iā€™m intending to get tuition for every trackday I attend for the forseeable future. One of my friends is a works LMP1 sports prototype driver and heā€™s said heā€™ll give me some help too so must sort that out for later in the year.

cheers Rob for a fab time, slide on next year

thanks for organising pesky, had a great weekend and spent most of sunday afternoon and evening taking the cars apart. the radical engine is out to have new gears and the exige is having all the engine mounts replaced and new cv joints again. look forward to seeing you all again

Loved the Radical Chris,ā€¦really great bit of kit. I also loved the look on Seanā€™s face as he drove past us heading out onto circuit in it

Look forward to seeing both cars out again soonā€¦

Great day and great humour - thanks!
