Not looked at prices for a while but this looks very cheap :
19,999 for an S with sensible miles.
Dont know why it says 240PP tho.

Wish I had not looked now, cheap for what it is.

Why isn’t it 240 then ???
no AP racing 4pot brakes on the front
And I think I’d be right in saying that PP cars weren’t launched until MY’08
The only ones with 240hp prior to that would have been cup variants/special editions
The 240 cars also had the full length roof scoop and I think they had the 7 spoke alloys.
Crickey that is cheap…
Could have been aftermarket remap etc ???
But it would still not be a 240PP as it hasn’t got the rest of the PP kit.
Not a 240PP maybe not even a 240
not sure he knows what he has or has not got??
even if you assume 220 thats a good deal
Yeah, agreed. A lot of car there for the money
If that’s a lot of car for the money then I feel REALLY good about my purchase!
And so you should, you got a great deal
I don’t think I’d have the guts to buy blind again, but I’m interested to know what people think.
Ade, no input from you on this one.
Say the identical car above had:
1 owner,
30k miles
sports and touring packs
schroth harnesses
reverie adjustable carbon wing
reverie carbon splitter
hangar 111 chargecooler (jacketed intercooler version)
hangar 111 radiator
hangar 111 exhaust manifold
sports exhaust with car (unknown)
2.9 pulley
Adjustable front and rear anti roll bars
AP 4 pots
Nitron 1 ways
Baffled sump
Larger flow injectors
Uprated fuel pump
240R wheels
Komotec remap
and all the standard bits too (apart from the wheels).
Just for interest’s sake, what should I have expected to pay?
Adjustable rear ARB??
Believe so.
You should probably remember though Adam, that modifications only (at best) add fractions to a car’s value compared to the actual cost of them. To the general public those modifications would probably indicate pretty heavy track use.
That being said, I recall that you paid less than I did for my sprint and I agree that you got a good deal. You could probably put it up for 28k as a private sale.
Incidentally, I’ve finally got the car back so drop me a line if you fancy a blast into hertfordshire or essex one morning.
No photos?
Thanks Will!
I would hope it has been on track, but I know that it’s not been a lot.
Am definitely up for a blast once in a while.
Preferably when the weather improves.
Glad to hear you have yours back.
btw. am not looking to sell. I know what you mean about the price of mods, but havng the original parts means I’d still have the option to return to stock and sell them separately. The mods on the second hand market have a value without question. I already sold the rear wing to Ade for example.
Anyway it’s a moot point. This thread has just taught me that my car was a better deal than I thought.
