Be interested to see the rear ARB, as they dont come with them and there aren’t any mounts for one.
TBH any exige thats not been on track I’d feel sorry for it, all the other lotus would take the piss out of it’s virginity
Corneringforce fit the rear arbs - they used my car to measure up for fitment on the exiges.
There should be pictures somewhere on their site… http://www.corneringforce.com/index.html
I agree, but I’m not sure that the general public would - heavy track-biased mods kind of limit your market when it comes to selling the car in my opinion, although it wouldn’t concern most of the people on here.
On a kind of related point (although maybe its a separate thread of its own)if I were contemplating doing half a dozen trackdays per year, would it be wise to have a baffled sump near the top of a modifications agenda? I know plenty of people do loads of trackdays in their cars without doing this, but it seems to me that it would be a sensible thing to have done given the damage that can occur with oil starvation. Car is due a service in the next month or so and I was contemplating asking Essex Autosport how much a baffled sump would be to have done at the same time.
Its a nice piece of mind thing to have. I got mine from Dave (Seriously Lotus) and fitted it before I really started tracking my S2 to any great degree
I think i know where you are coming from but I’m sure many of the general public are not real Exige buyers though; and if they become one, as in a number of cases I have seen they become the zealous convert and end up modding just about everything.
The car has race car appeal and so more (within reason) race car parts can add to that appeal.
Agreed, the ‘general public’ dont buy an Exige, I think you buy an Exige, because you want an Exige. I think people buy on condition more than anything else.
