Car finally ready for 2007 season!!!!!!!

Well I finally finished bolting my car back together today after another bit of a rebuild and a repiant and after making it compliant with the new LOT regulations.

I think it looks OK and it will be really easy for me to touch it all up myself after each race weekend.

Changes I have made to the car from last year include:

Glass windscreen
Handbrake fitted
Rear fog light fitted
Spherical bearings fitted to all of the wishbones
new pads all round
new brake fluid
new wheel bearings
new ball joints
new steering rack
new track rod ends
Erland 1.8 litre K fitted
2Bular exhaust fitted
Changed coolant
Several oil and fiter changes
new paint


I think that is about it.

That matt paint finish looks really good. That should be introduced as a standard colour…

You could get sponsorship written in chalk on the sides

Looks nice, but why the changes in paint every 6 months?

Group B has to be 70mm clearance and Group C is 65mm. I have been told that these are in stone and they can be done with the Motorsport splitter. Mine is currently 74mm off the floor.

Ace colour Sean…stealth black…looks like it will do two laps “under the radar” before the rest of the grid even set off!

…Sean…now your car looks like the pre sticker Honda F1 car you could always go for the ECO world sticker thing…ride the wave man!..bet you’d get some column inches for that!

Also as someone who does not know either Mr Andrews or Mr Erland (and has no hidden agenda !) I am genuinely interested to hear how your engine performs and wish you (and the rest of the LOT guys ) the best of luck this season.
