captive nuts in clam gone

Checking through I find these clam/sill captive nuts have let go and have been replaced by nuts and bolts…not elegant.
plan to fix a M8 Rivnut with some lge washers and some epoxy resin for good measure
will be reassembled with plenty of CopperSlip…
What do you peeps think?

My drivers side just spins, both bolts still attached Clive. Still thinking of options…Edit, actually it’s my quarter panel to sill.

What colour is that…

I think Clive needs to be a bit more forthcoming with some details about his latest acquisition

I agree, he PM’d me a cryptic clue… Something you might like :sunglasses: Come on Clive spill the beans

That blue can only be one car surely?

With orange underneath…

Never! No way! The cryptic clue makes complete sense now.

Sherlock and Holmes I presume???

Oh and BTW how do I fix sticking switches…WD40 partly helps …

A rather amazing development has altered some of my plans :astonished: …all might be revealed anon
It might be a lesson for us all too.

(Nothing to do with mystery car)

“Moriarity” :imp:

Come on Clive,…share with the group!!

Any gravy?

Soichiro never kept secrets

That can only be one Exige you have there Clive

Was 2.

Not sure about the rivnut for that - its depending if you want a real strong fitting.
If you can get a big head nut in there with some sikaflex on it - the big head has a larger diameter with holes in it which means the sikaflex extrudes through them and makes a strong fixing. However you may need to cut a larger hole ( and put a large grommet in it ) above it to do this successfully.

Sounds sensible…grommet essential as plenty road dirt disappears down there!
Thanks for that.

Is it a high miler with amazing looks. :sunglasses:

109,000 of them

… and laser blue underneath that!

I hope you got it cheap!
