That red looks gorgeous, much nicer than my orangey red.
Good to see your car getting a make over Ben. If I had to pick a colour I don’t know what I’d go for, but I quite like the s2 aubergine colour.
I think chilli red would look good on an S1…

The problem with red is that I don’t think Martin’s car could be bettered.
I also really want a non-metallic solid colour so that rules out aubergine.
Still with Slate-Grey or Noggy-Blue.

Don’t do it Noggy Blue!!
It looks great on a Audi B5 RS4, but it’s just too much “blue” for a little car like the exige to carry off imho.
If you go Noggy you’ll need to go with as many panels as you can to tone it down, black roof and all the trim bits. The picture you have posted on the trailer is just too much blue for me.
Ben, go slate grey (with fluorescent green calipers and trim/stickers).
I was perusing a Porsche 918 spyder at the local dealers, sort of a champagne silvery gold with fluro green bits, fuck me it was truly drop dead gorgus!! An S1 Exige with all it’s bulbous bits would easily carry off the same combo, and it looks proper classy!! win, win.

yeah noggy blue is good, but needs some black to break bits up.
If you add some black to other panels you will be looking at “the Blue Badger”. NO!

Well haven’t completely decided but that was towards the top of the list.
I like the Blue but agree that a few black or carbon bits will really add some contrast and make it pop.
