BaT Spa....Aug 2nd/3rd-Ring 4th-BaT Zandvoort 5th

Hmm, tempting…but can my car survive the stringing together of such events, mmmm?

Ian

I was chatting to the lads about this today, so this may end up being a bit of a JSR holiday, so count John and Wayne in as well. Not deffo yet though.

Ian, Jonny and I did the 2 days at Spa last year. We drove there, did Spa, then drive to the Ring, did the Nordshliefe a few times, then did the GP track, then drove home

These cars are amazing

Be great if you made it along Ian, but I understand your concerns  Hey one thing tho, you’d have Sean, John and Wayne to help out if there was an issue ey!

Thx for the reply Sean, great news if guys can… :sunglasses:

To be brutal about it, Jane will ‘probably’ not be coming along, the trip to Croft (5 hours) and Anglesey (6 hours)last year finally made her mind up that long distance travel in an Exige is not what it is cranked up to be (partial deafness/ears bleeding/double vision/loss of feeling generally in the lower body…)!

So, just me then !

Pete!

Buy her some ear plugs, glasses, and a foam seat!

Lisa may be interested in coming along… But it would be much better if there were a gaggle of them!

I figured the girls would take off for the day and shop for shoes, then have the BBQ ready and the beers chilled when we had finished at the track!

Just the rooms are available at Sean’s place not the Holiday Homes or Chalet, they need to be booked for a week? Single person are 64 Euro and 2 persons 44 Euro (inc breakfast)…see here

Ok!

What single day will be the best to book SPA! Mon or Tue guys?

SWMBO is showing an interest in coming along to do some clog shopping… Are any other Sheilas coming too?

I am being a ‘Big Girls Blouse’ atm, does that count?

How big are your clogs!!!

Ade, I haven’t been at the workshop this week. John and Wayne have of course, have you already spoke to them? Let me have your number and I will give you a call. ALthough your best bet is to give John a call at the workshop.

Sean…

Tuesday is the best one off day, as the two dayers leave early between 3 & 5 and if you get there Monday mid afternoon you can familiarize yourself with the area and track, maybe pick up the line on a few pax rides. That’s just my opinion anyways!

And as the Ring is like just 50 or so minutes away join us there for the evening sesssion and a WICKED steak as it closes at 7.30

Don’t let me down buddy

OK John!

My plan will be to leave on Sunday with you all, drool and pax rides on Monday and do the full day at SPA on Tuesday. Are you planning a FULL day also on Tuesday at SPA? When will you be going to the Ring (Wed 4th) and Zandvoort (Thu 5th)???

Just trying to fiddle my leave dates!

Great you’re in convoy on the Sunday Cobber

Yep a few of us will leave Spa about 4ish on the Tuesday after doing both days. Either come with us (50mins or so away) have a drive around the ring or pax…Or come later and drive or pax (I’d don’t really boot it tbh). Ring closes at 730, not far and easy to find using a Garmin or TomTom from Spa…BUT and I’m well serious about this, Mark and I now know a place that does the most AWESOME steak! So by 830 you’ll head to toe in beef.

I’m going to sort somewhere to stay also Tuesday night. Those who need to shoot of to Blighty can Wednesday morning while the rest of us hoon the Ring and head off to Zandvoort in the PM, I’ll sort somewhere to stay there also…you want in
