Sean says its stupid to double declutch,
Although to be honest I’d figured as much,
Use the synchros idiot,…that’s what they’re for!
He can see them all laid out on his garage floor
Ben likes moving his leg up and down
He must get tired when he is driving around town
A man of his age, should be taking it slow
Like the rest of his driving, Ho Ho Ho Ho!!!
Ho Ho Ho Ho? Is it Christmas time?
Oh no it’s just Sean trying to force things to rhyme
My legs don’t get too tired bud, I’m not a shortarse like you
For every stride I take you’ve have to take two
Yes, Ben and Pete, we Double De-Clutch,
and Shorty Sean laughs as such.
But one things for sure about us pair,
we are not Clutching our heads, at our lack of hair
I’m a double-declutcher, too. Love going down through the gears from high speed off main road into our village. Well, that was until they put in a 30 limit down a dead straight road with absolutely no hazards . . .
I first learned to do it (double declutch, that is, before you perverts latch on to ‘it’) in a Morris 1000 van. No synchro on first and it had a surprisingly fruity exhaust note
I know very little about tyres, i like my 888s on track while the R1Rs have less grip and go off after a while, that’s the limit of my knowledge
are these Avons better than 888s?
I’m guessing they are since they’re a newer design, though is this backed up, e.g. does anyone agree? have the lap times come down in the lotus cup/elise trophy. my current tyres are borderline illegal so will need some new shoes soon,
To be fair, things like tyres and brake pads and suspension setups can often be a personal choice thing. What one person likes another mat not. Give them a whirl matey, its the only way you will get to find out what you think about them.
