Boots fitted, pressure sensors installed, washers and shift lighters fixed, ready to roll. Hmm, is that a bearing I hear?

Weather watch - BBC Weather - Home?
Promising.
Took mine for a spin last night and it looks like we’re good to go
I came across an Ariel Atom out on the road,…as we trickled across Richmond Park obeying the 20mph limit. Two cars completely out of place in London
Oh,…and I noticed that I’ve lost a fin off my diffuser so if I appear really shit and slow on circuit then that will be why
Is it blown?
Blown?
Blown diffuser – all the rage elsewhere, in 2010 especially.
Ben, Which one have you lost? Might have a spare one in the garage. Could bring it with us a the weekend. Then you won’t have any excuses
Steve.
Lol - Thanks Steve it’s one in from the outside. I’ll get working on some other excuses
LOL.
Left or right hand side?

Steve, what the best method of keeping them pretty when the paint starts to flake?

Mascara.
Long and lovely fins, eh!
If its just the odd chip of paint then you can touch them up (ooo err) with something like hammerite or any black metal paint. I have actually coloured in the stone chips on my diffuser before with a permernant marker pen . Ofcourse when they start to look really tatty the best way to sort them is to have the old finish blasted off and the have them re-powdercoated. They look as good as new then. But if you want to borrow Pesky’s mascara then i’m sure he will let you borrow it a the weekend once he has got ready to go out on the friday night
I think it’s beyond mascara, perhaps another job for the end of season list.
