Anglesey 2017 Exiges Day

Yup the car is fighting fit,.John is loading up and looking forwards to seeing everyone

Journey has started, just been to get the car :sunglasses:

I was recently offered an brand new Jaguar C type identical in every way to the original but made this year.
Ben are you sure your car is not one of these clones??? it looks absolutely brand new …superb.
see you soon  .

I might have a space going spare for friday on track, John failed his MOT

What’s the procedure for getting it into someones hands?

Looks magnificent. A bit of detailing going on. Or lack of use :open_mouth:

That’s coz it is magnificent! I gave it a wash at the weekend and it leads a pampered existence these days.

If he can’t do it online then phone the BaT office in the morning. I think he’ll get a credit minus admin fee and all those on the reserve list get an email…first to react gets the place.

ahhh done online, place released

With my Caterham going there on the Bat truck I would not dream of having my ears attacked in the Exige getting there. Audi A4 is dead so I have my epic Skoda Rapid (not) rental in grey to get me there.

Looking forward to it. I must wear out my Academy Envirosaver tyres, no grip.

Have a great couple of days everyone, wish I was there

Lol sorry what Keith, you are not going to the exiges.com day in the Exige

Echoing JF’s post, have a great weekend and I hope the weather is kind.

All good thus far. Traffic was a bit pants (really pants for some). 30 or so of us assembled at the Premier Inn.

Two Exiges paid a visit to a departed friend on the way :

Big thanks for organising this always very special trackday Ben - great to see all the familiar faces and welcome new cars and owners

Had a great time. Thanks to everyone for making me welcome (I was in the motorsport green exige 350 sport with Ishy and Dave).

Most bizarre moment was on the way home when a certain SimonE rang me stating “I’ll be home soon love, put my dinner on”. Now, he’s lovely fella and I’m sure he could turn a chap’s head but I would like to make it absolutely clear, I can’t cook for shit.

I’m praying it was a wrong number.

 -sorry a gen mistake Richard - hope you weren’t to peturbed by the ‘something hot on the table’ comment…

What goes on in Yorkshire, should stay in Yorkshire

Last time I was described as ‘Something hot on the table’ I was at A&E in Ibiza with sun burn.

Gutted we can’t be the there this year guys, definitely next year wherever that may be ! Have fun.
