Space available sharing a Bookatrack Caterham!
Tim (Muu)'s dad Neill is still looking for someone to share a Caterham hire with. As I posted before it equates to £667.50. Yes its a lot of money but that’s all in with fuel/consumables,…just arrive and drive. Two sharing a car gives more than enough time on circuit. Post here if you can think of anyone who’d like to attend our fantastic event…

I could be wrong but the way I read that is that Tims dad has already booked 1/2 the car ?
How does this caterham car share work? Just go out come back in and swap or are you time slotted? I want to take the gtr out but not really for the whole day so sharing a caterham would be good but dont really want to pay for the track day twice. I’m guessing I’d have to pay for the day in the gtr and then half the day in the caterham?
The share would be worked out between the two people sharing… eg, you are not time slotted.
If you have already booked/paid for your place, you would simply pay the extra for the ‘hire’ portion of the car.
BaT caterham bookings don’t consume normal arrive n drive slots. There is a car free but Dad doesn’t really want to pay £1300 to leave it in garage 60% of the time, so looking for a partner in crime.
Yup BaT always assume a certain amount of Caterham rentals. Fingers crossed Tim’s Dad has found a sharer, hopefully know more about that tomorrow.
Chris, I’ve asked if there’s an opportunity to have rent for half a day. I know from experience it won’t be half of a day’s cost as the car still needs the same prep after a rental whether its used for a full or half day. Again I should know tomorrow.
If it ends up that the Caterhams don’t get rented Dave, I’ll request the places get liberated for those on the reserve list.

Great pic especially with both Con and Mike on the front row. To think that Mike was standing up at the driver’s briefing just a year ago presenting the Con Red Caliper Award to Gil Edwards. Two great exigers who many of us will remember fondly and raise a glass to over the next few days…
