do the CP5317 have the same fittings and piston sizes?
yeah so they’re a common 130x27.5mm mounting but with a different casting to allow for a bigger disc
They are however slightly smaller pistoned at 1-5/8" instead of 1-3/4" but really that probably better balanced for tandem MC car
A trailer here if needed. Logistics are a bit of an issue but either way
Tyres ordered
Cheers but two issues, while the merc packs 6.2L and 480 torques it’s not able to tow.
Also I’m too young to have a c+e licence!
Transit I can drive on as whole rig is under 3.5T
Wow didn’t realise that I was cleared up to 12T, but I’m only provisional for Road Rollers and Tracked Vehicles
Tim, why are you getting a trailer?
Won’t have time to mot it, and expecting gremlins so thought I’d plan for worst case
If Friday goes badly on my MOT I will be wishing I’d planned likewise.
load of guys in tech jobs, turning up a circuit with the plastic car in the garage and a german saloon parked outside
stereotype much?
Yeah I know its always good to know that +£300 exercises plan-B,…you gotta have a plan-B right!
indeed!
Plus I’m viewing anglesey as shakedown for Spa (maybe silverstone between too)
Now a session in that instead of the BAT cat could be a lot of fun
I assume there is still no fuel at Angelsey and a 30 mile round trip to get super?
That should be interesting for V6 owners.
Lol bonkers - I’m sure they are missing a trick and a few easy £’s there … bring a petrol can hey Benja?
Yeah I’m afraid so.
When I was walking past a pit garage last week I saw one of the race teams with their Sunoco race fuel barrel. I thought, yeah get one of those delivered to circuit and split the costs. Even for pump grade fuel it was like £2.50/litre I’m sure there’s all kinds of regulations apply too…
At least its not an unpleasant drive to the petrol station eh!
I’ve seen pics of trucks racing at Anglesey…can you imagine storming through Church and up to Rocket in a truck Coming ttttthhHHHHRRROOOUUGGH
I think your diving style would suit a truck mate!
