Anglesey 2015

Best of luck Simon/Ade.
Mine requires MoT, service, and re-attachment of splitter held on by gaffer tape since my European adventure last year.
And, hopefully, nothing else . . .

Good luck guys. New alternator, idler pully, tensioner pully and aux belt fitted to the black elise. That was fun trying to take the alternator out of an EA honda with the remote filter and air oil cooler in the way.

Just need to fit new pads, flush the brake fluid and put a few miles on it!

ha yea I bet!

Ah just noticed I need an MoT!!!

I know what you mean, I need a Disney 14 day pass, Universal pass, Seaworld & Bush Gardens… what am I going to do!

Enjoy the Bush?

When you arriving Jonny, I’m at Marriott World centre from 17th - 26th March … small world

Three weeks today lads we’ll be assembling at the circuit!

personally, rather than cars we hope

Yes mate  you know what to do fella!!

25th Andy. Lol small world indeed

Bugger … was hoping to do this this year, but dragged my feet doing a few jobs and just looked and its showing as fully booked.

If anyone has to drop out, let me know.

Are you on the standard thickness (26mm I think) or are you biggin’ it up with 28s and wider calipers?
If standard, have you had the handbrake caliper re-machined to go out by 3.5mm from 308?

Nearly ready now, just replaced a knackered engine mount. Only a few weeks

New battery, adjustable ARB, oil cooler recall, pro alloy rad, new front discs and pads all done.

Ready to go! Though not sure I’ve got any money left for fuel now :lolno:

For anyone that has missed out then it is worth putting yourself on the reserve list. There will no doubt be some drop outs, there’s already been one as we’re showing as ‘1’ place available!

It may even be worth planning on attending just to enjoy the craic and capitalise on any last minute no-shows/mechanical failures.

Standard thickness discs so I can use the standard callipers, as for the handbrake calliper, when I looked there is the clearance you need for the bigger rear discs with no modifications, cross fingers it does all work as expected

Beware if you are using the 2 pot caliper with a 315 disc, They are over there limit on a 308 but do work…

I will be doing the rears first, if they don’t work, I’ll only put the 315mm on the front, just seemed rude to turn them down at the price they were.

Right trailer booked

yeah I picked some of those 315s up too, will get the bells from Dave and also the factory 4 pots. Just going to run 295s on the rear with the 2 pots, and balance them with a bias pedal box. I’ll just crank the friction material right up and ensure they have plenty of ducting/cooling

If you want large rears then could use the cheap CP5317 which are £400 a pair and look just like a Lotus 2 pot but support up to 332mm.
