Aluminium Racing Jack

Just getting shipping info for one of these. Seems like a bargain at $69, but we’ll see after shipping and tax are added.

3000 LB. CAPACITY LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM RACING JACK

Cheers
Will.

If you manage to get it here on a sensible price I’ll want two.

OTOH, if ordering more than one can help bring the costs down, just let me know. I’d like two.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind one as well.

Bernard

Two for me, too.

They workout quite expensive, with tax and shipping, i looked into it a while back.i’m gonna order one of these, not a bad price -

OK so the most expensive, but free delivery. I’ve got one and it’s ace.
[Edit : Oops, just noticed. Sold Out.]

I got (“won”) one from here for 81.95 (delivered) a couple of weeks ago: Click Ebay

Note from Eliseparts site that people who have bought jacks have also bought AccuMate battery charger/conditioner. I have needed one for two years. Does anyone know if this one is any good, or can recommend another at abt same price?
Thanks

I also brought the Ebay jack, good bit of kit, badged for the US market, nicely anodized in blue and silver, big roller on the front for softer ground. Would recommend it like Mr Pesky.

Would recommend it like Mr Pesky.

Ta - that’s the first time anyone’s recommended me

It’s small, expensive but good at keeping things up. No wonder it’s recommended by the “older” members.

I bet Junks has 3 or 4 of these jacks lying around his stately pile - whether or not they work, will be a different matter though

Oi!! I’ve only got two, a red one & a blue one!! lol!!

Depending on which colour car I’m working on!:stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve got a couple of these jobbers:

They’re great.

I have one of these funny little white Jacks.

Still no news on shipping costs. Hoping they’ll get back to me tomorrow, otherwise the ebay option does look attractive. I’ll let you know.

I’ve been using one of these for a while, no problems, does what it says on the box. Had to buy a cigar lighter adaptor for it from halfords (couple of quid) just plug it in and leave it

Really? I didn’t think you could use the cig lighter socket, as it cuts off the connection to the ignition when you take the key out.

I run a wire from the batt in to the passenger foot well (there’s a big rubber grommet back there to pass it through, just) where I plug the AirFlow in.

I’ve seen that commented on before, but mines live all the time. Early 04 S2, cig lighter between the seats.

Decent 3 ton jack with 89mm minimum height at Costco (in Reading at least) for 65.
