Aluminium Racing Jack

Seen them, but they’re big heavy boogers though!

Ok guys got the pricing information now.

$69.99 for the jack, and approx $75 to ship to the UK.
So at current exchange rate thats about 80, delivered.
You’ll have to add any import duty, but it should still be under 100. Delivery within 10 to 14 days.

Unfortunately no discount on the jacks or shipping for an order of 10, so there isn’t any advantage in me ordering them up for you.

Cheers
Will

You sure? I think there may be both duty and VAT, I reckon you could be looking at 110+.

Ian

Yep import duty & VAT usually payable & they charge VAT on the shipping too the buggers!!

Just getting shipping info for one of these. Seems like a bargain at $69, but we’ll see after shipping and tax are added.

3000 LB. CAPACITY LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM RACING JACK >

Cheers
Will.

I use those and I can tell you that they are not as lightweight as you might think, only real plus is that it fits under the car, just just, at low ride heights and lifts it really quickly.

I see the advantage of importing alot of things but surely a jack just cannot be worth the effort. Remember you get what you pay for and this is not a snap on jack it is built to a price.

There are two different types Jason one is lightweight (8kg mine) & one is about 15kg still way lighter than my standard 40kg one tho!!

I gave the revenue a call and there shouldn’t be any duty but there is VAT to pay. Even if they do charge it on the shipping its under 100.

There seem to be a couple of different designs around. Some at about 18kg but this one says its only 11kg. This attracted me because of the weight, and being able to put it in the passenger footwell on the way to trackdays. So for occasional use.

So where did you get yours, and how much?

Yep mines def not heavy Will & looks exactly the same as the one on Harbour site, I can lift it (just) with one finger!! I do have another which is significantly heavier but still easy to carry & as I said still lighter than the Sealey one which is some 40kg!!

There’s one of these on EBay

although I’m not sure it would lift an Exige or if it did how much force it would require?

They only lift to about 200mm - ok for changing a wheel etc though UK Track Days - Bike and Car Track Day Events

Well at 48 +P&P (so far) its a fair bit cheaper than the 85-100 for the Easytrack ones…

Not saying it isn’t cheap Steve just that it’s lift isn’t good enough to get under the car etc

Junks - Sorry was not meaning to have a pop at you - the EBay one went for 67 and there was 12 P&P, so perhaps not the bargain it first appeared…your comment regarding the lifting height was exactly what i was looking for, i.e. a good reason not to bid
