Same here just mega busy. Being a superhero is no laughing matter and by know means a part time job. Anyway, it’s dark outside, I better go… Stay safe Exiges!
Yep been busy too trying to finish a job off before Christmas, really looking forward to some time off now just a week to go.
Roll on the New Year and lets hope for some good trackdays, that reminds me I have some small jobs to do on the car.
Perhaps we could start by gettng some of these long standing associates of exiges.com who arent members signed up?
Sorry, that should be the second thing we do, first thing is to to open the site up so we can get new members signed up eaier than it has been, oh wait we’ve done that bit…
This is no different to MLOC, similar sort who frequent and similar amount of movement. They have like us made steps to increase the flow, a lot more in fact but truth be told its not much different. Is NYLOC not the same? Anyway my point is that the majority will post on SELOC, it has the monopoly when it comes to Lotus forums, that said I got pretty board very quickly on The Lotus Forums. The US is massive, so Lotus Talk will always do well. I don’t think it’s a big worry, its just the way it is…
True enough. Any old post would do though, especially involving pics of the car when out & about. You can’t have too many pics of cars for me, I’m like a kid in a toy shop when there’s piccies to be viewed
Took some pics today Tim while out for a blast through Horton in Ribblesdale, pics are a bit shite so not worth posting up. When I got home I watched some vid footage from the Hethel T/D with me driving slow and you blasting past me
Difficult or a bit dull from my point of view seeing as the car is now tucked up for the winter!
SORN refund turned up today which was nice
We were out and about in the other Exige this weekend though ploughing through the pouring rain, and not wanting to stop and take pics Fingers crossed we’ll get some snow, and get to try out the winter tyres, now that will be a photo opportunity!!
So an owner of a new S3 has the opportunity to enrich a dedicated community and chooses not to because its dead/static… Well that’s just plain ignorance. If he’d of given reasons like Porter did in this months EVO I’d understand, I wonder what site he actually settled on… I’d love to argue with him Jonny
I think we should have a rethink of the forum headings, especially the olly bits sections which is very much a bygone of S1. Other Stuff section is a grave yard, and in reality the projects bit needs to be promoted. My 2c on how it should be laid out:
General:
Chat
Owners cars & projects
Events & Track Days (ditch the ‘reports’)
Tech:
S1
S2
S3 V6
Engine Swaps
Classifieds:
Cars
Parts
Other:
Fold the mainly dead forums into other sections, half of them haven’t been touched for 6 months (1 since 2012) and it makes it look ghost town.
Maybe there is a market to lure in the owners of all the cars going to the far east etc.
