Air intake grills

still interested in buying a ready made set from someone

Cheers scoob. I have sent a PM. Canā€™t wait to get the old girl looking good for the summer.

Mesh has just arrived
So hope fully unless the management have other plans! I hope to make a start on these this weekend. Silkaflex should be here by Monday too.

Silkaflex? Is that made by worms?

I meant Sikaflex and itā€™s made by Martians ! Bloody hell! What a job getting the old grills OFF! Anyway done now, So tomorrowā€¦ Iā€™m making the new ones.

Done it and happy they look as good as 661ā€™s
Takes patients mind.

Make me some  Iā€™m going to keep asking until someone either feels sorry for me or gets fed up with asking :stuck_out_tongue:

Before and after pics?

sorry guys canā€™t get the hang of uploading pics.
But link seems to work.

Next stop Merlin Motor sport for cold air to i/c feeds

Looks good Scoob, is that your everyday ride with the FO rear wing lol.

Itā€™s the IMG code at the bottom of the image links box where you copied that link from buddy.

Nice job!

Looking good. But a good job is made by good preparation
If you are doing the air scoops to the IC, drill the brackets as suggested by RLS with their kit. I think I put 2 25mm holes in it and painted the bracket with POR whilst there

So you must mount the intake behind the bracket and not above it. I assume holes in bracket to let air through. I was thinking of mounting above the bracket.
This sort of thing:

Ahh! found it now on RLS site. Really Light Stuff

Yup thatā€™s just what I am going to do BUT for a fraction of the cost

Now JF has put me straight on uploading pics I will do so once complete

Correct, mount above the bracket , and yes the holes are to let air pass throā€™.

Does the Pro Alloy cold air feed kit mount in a similar way?

Iā€™ve not seen a definitive installation image of that end of the pipes before.

Looks good, so canā€™t wait to do mine now. Hope it goes to plan .
