A quandary, I need help.....

Vultures circling now…

ah… well… ermm… yes

Hate to disagree with this, but personally speaking, I wouldn’t want to heavily track a VHPD car…

As standard it will break, and the lack of reliability will cause you pain and heartache… if you go down the route of fixing it over and over, you will spend a lot of money. Done properly, a Honda will be far more reliable and hence enjoyable on track, not to mention the possibility of further bhp down the line if you feel you want it.

I have driven mine pretty damn hard during the time I’ve had it, and mechanically it has been bombproof. You may do the odd CV boot or joint, but to be honest, most of those issues have been sorted these days in the well proven conversions.

I don’t think there are many who regret going down the Honda conversion route.

Fair enough but would you not trailer it to track days? :unamused:

I plan on driving it to track days and I feel the need for Audi turbo power

You have talked yourself into it, Herr Vorsprung Durch Technik

anything decent from Audi wont pull a trailer though?

Fastest thing I could find that’d pull was our 335i

AMG, RS, S, M all dont want to be seen pulling caravans

Either you’re being ironic Tim or you’ve got a firm grip on the wrong end of the stick

Another Audi, cool man. I’ve got mounts and stuff Ade, give me a shout if you want to chat.

Lol my S4 does ok Tim, although my wife’s old Q7 was far better, just ate front tyres.

I might well have already had a couple of conversations with John

You want a caravan now ?! I can’t keep up

Does the latest S4 pull a trailer?

Oh and yes wrong end of the stick - thought with all this talk of trailing track only cars we’re into wanting wagons too.

Vulture circling . . . I’ll take the VHPD off your hands!

The one he hasn’t brought yet? :open_mouth:

You could be circling for some time there Thommo

Certainly does mate, if wasn’t lashing down outside I’d take picture of it proudly wearing it removable tow hook outside

Just thought I’d get the bid in before SimonE

Too late mate! I had PM’d Ade last week…

… cards close to my chest aware of the competition

Hmmmm, I think I will be the first to say I do not really like the carbon tat exige… The seats are not nice and it does not really float my boat, maybe I am getting old but I think I would take mine standard with the upgraded sports seats and a 190 vhpd. Its a classic, why spoil it.

As above, if I wanted to go all out on a track weapon I would start with an S1 and re shell it… That would not only be cheaper but would save another classic.
I think at some point the vhpd cars value’s will climb above that of the converted cars.

Best S1 exige colour is lazer blue with silver wheels, Pesky has a lot to answer for.

Nobody is purfick,sorry :open_mouth:
